A Card for the Lili of the Valley and Wild Orchids Challenges
Anyway to get back to business, todays card has been created for the LOV Challenge "Punch it" and the Wild Orchids "Sketch" Challenges, and Ive used this sweet image of this couple planting a tree, and the sentiment is one that comes with it. Ive stamped it onto white card then coloured it with my copic pens before using my oval Nestabilitie Die to cut it out, I used the scalloped one for the mount, the sentiment has been treated in the same way but with a heart Nestabilitie die instead.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of light mauve pearlescent card, and on top of this I have used two papers from the First Editions "Desert Blooms" paper pad, the first paper is a very pretty all over flower design which has glitter already stuck on it, the second paper is a orange base one that Ive used the new Woodware strip border punch on this was then laid on top of the first mount. I then wrapped a orange satin ribbon around the middle and attached it to the back of the first mount.
My mounted image was then positioned in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side. I then created a flower spray in the top left hand corner with several different size roses from Wild Orchid Crafts and with some punched out fern leaves attached it to the card with some silicone glue.
This card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-
