A Card for Saturated Canary "Anything Goes" Challenge

Good Afternoon Everyone, the sun is out and Ive just sent hubby out to sweep up all the leaves that have tumbled from the trees in all that wind last night, hes not happy but it does need doing as weve got the green wheelie bin men due tomorrow. Before I show you my card for Saturated Canary I want to share with you a couple of photos of my hubbys new Grandson who arrived last Sunday evening, his name is Jacen and he weighted in at 8lbs 10ozs a real whopper, of course hubby is as proud as punch and carnt wait to go to visit and see him but unfortunately weve got a lot on over the next couple of weekends that its going to have to wait until 18th which will mean that he will probably have grown a bit, but never mind.

On the top is Ian's daughter Sammie with young Jacen and below hes with his dad Matt, they already have a 2 year old daugher Seraphie and Im sure shes thrilled with her new baby brother.
Anyway back todays card here it is:-
Ive used one of the new Sassy Girls stamps and coloured her with my copics and tria pens, afterwards Ive used the Nestabilitie Labels No.1 die to cut it out then used the die to create the mount for it, the sentiment is one I got free from one of the craft magazines and has been mounted on the same pink card I used for the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card and for my papers Ive used the Nitwits "Hey Cupcake" digi downloads, this first paper is a pretty pink background with several different coloured flowers on it, the second is a strip thats been mounted down the card and on this is a blue background with red, green and yellow hearts on it, for the third paper Ive used a pink and white stripe one and this has been stuck across the card and a blue grosgrain ribbon has been wrapped down and around the card and then stuck to the back of the first mount.
Ive then stuck my mounted image to the left of my card and the sentiment at the bottom on the right, to finish Ive used two of the left over bits of paper to create a rolled flower and this was then stuck to the card at the top on the right with some silicone glue on top of some punched out leaves.

The sentiment is one of the Pink Gem stamps and this has been cut and mounted with a circle die.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card and then Ive used two papers from the First Edition "Christmas Joy" paper pad, the first paper is blue background with baubles on it, the second paper is a red background with a sentiment on, Ive also used a bauble embossing folder on the third mount.
The mounted image was then positioned in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish of Ive cut a bauble out with the Martha Stewart punch and then used some glue and glitter on it, and positioned it at the top on the left with a small bow on the top.

A Card for Saturated Canary "Autumn Colours"

Good Afternoon All, its dark again early and Im already fed up with these long evenings, Im sure its not supposed to get dark by 4pm but who am I to say. Anyway todays card has been created for the Saturated Canary "Autumn Colours" Challenge, and I was lucky enough to receive my new Sassy Girls stamps this morning from Funky Kits, and I chose this young lady for my topper, isnt she gorgeous, anyway I stamped her onto white card then used my copics to create a rainbow on her dress, and then cut her out with the large Rectangle Nestabilitie Die and used a Deckle edged one for the mount, the sentiment is one from my stash and Ive mounted it in the same way as my image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of dark yellow pearlescent card and Ive then used three papers from the K & Company "Classic K Bailey" Paper pack, this first paper is in shades of brown with a rose pattern on, the second I cut in a strip and this is beige/yellow paper and I used my Martha Stewart leaf border punch down the edge, on top I have placed my third paper a red and orange flower pattern which has been mounted on some more of the yellow card.
The mounted image was then positioned towards the right, with the sentiment at the bottom on the left, to finish of Ive used two of the left over papers to cut our a Nestabilitie Blossom die cut and then rolled it up to create a double layered flower, this was then attached to the card with some silicone glue on top of punched out leaves.

A Card for Mo's Challenge "Winter"

Good Afternoon All, well I dont know about you but here in Gloucestershire its pouring or rain and its dark its almost as if weve already reached the shortest day of the year, my poor pup each time she goes out she comes back in soaked, and she doesnt take to kindly to being dryed she will run you ragged trying to catch her. Anyway todays card has been created for Mos Challenge "Winter", and Ive used this sweet little elfkin for my card, Ive printed her onto white card then used my copics to colour her out, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Label 22 to cut her out, then used the metal die again to draw around to create the mount for her. The sentiment is one of Pink Gems ones isnt it gorgeous, this has been mounted on a double ended tag die with brads holding it to the base card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card the papers Ive used this time are from the Memory Box "Yuletide" paper pack, the first paper has music notes and song titles on, then on top I have cut a snowflake border with the Memory Box die, and on top is yet a second paper a red background with red spots on, around the middle is a red satin ribbon which has been attached to the back of the first mount.
I then positioned my mounted image in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side, and to finish of Ive used a bauble die cut and glittered it with red glitter and positioned it at the top on the left hand side with a small bow at the top.

A Card for the LOV Challenge "A Card for Someone Special"

Im not sure if the cards not straight or Ive not put the topper on straight, anyway hope you still like the end result, it might just be my camera angle, lets hope its that. Anyway todays card has been created for the Lili of the Valleys "A Card for Someone Special" and Ive still got a few to make for family members so I think this card will fall into that catagory, Ive used this sweet little people singing with the dog howling, and coloured it with my copic and tria pens, then cut it out with my rotatrim, the mount has been cut out with the Fleur de Lis Rectangle from Spellbinders, Ive then mounted them up, the Sentiment is one that I got free from Polka Doodles and felt it was a lovely one to go with the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card and one of the Memory Box "Mistletoe" paper set, a very pretty white/cream background with holly leaves and berries on, Ive only used the one paper and on top I have laid two stripes of die cut that I created with the Cherry Lynn Holly Lace die, and then mounted  my image to the right and the sentiment at the bottom on the left. To finish of Ive stuck some pearls in random places to look like holly berries.

Guess what Ive been published

A we while ago I was emailed by Ruth Southorn of Papercraft Inspiration a craft magazine, as I hadnt actually sent anything in to be published I was a little worried that I was being scammed, anyway I replied to her and she said that shed seen one of my cards on my blog and would dearly like to publish it in a future issue of the magazine, all I had to do was submit a 200dpi photo for her to use.
Anyway today when I received my magazine guess what on page 88 there is was in all its glory, to say Im chuffed is putting it lightly, and theyve even published my blogspot address, so you never know I might have a few more followers in the future. Heres a small photo of the whole page, and I will also put the card below so you can see it completely.

I hope you like what you see, I did make sure they put Mo's name by the image.

A Card for LOV Challenge - "Bright and Sparkly"

Good Afternoon Everyone, I thought Id better pull my finger out and create a card for my No.2 blog, and here it is, its a card for this weeks Lili of the Valleys "Bright and Sparkly" and I hope they can see just how much I have glittered this image, isnt he cute, I stamped him onto white card then used my copic's and tria pens to colour him, afterwards I used the circle Nestabilitie Die to cut him out, and the Star Circle for the mount.
The sentiment is one of the Polka Doodles ones that I got free with one of my craft magazines, I thought it went well with the image. For my card I have used a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, the papers I have used are Donna's Bearlymine Christmas Wishes they are gorgeous blues and beige's and felt they went well with my image. The first being a blue background with white snowflakes on, the second is a sentiment pattern on a blue background again with this I have cut into a 5" square and then used an all around border and corner punches in a snowflake design made by Martha Stewart. The third paper is yet another sentiment but this one has stripes and snowflakes on in blue, white and beige, this was mounted onto blue card and laid down the card on the left, the fourth paper is a blue and white stripe which has been laid across the card. Then I have wrapped a blue ribbon with a sentiment on has been put across the card and attached to the back of the first mount.
I then positioned my mounted image in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side and the last little flourish is the big snowflake which has been punched with several snowflakes punches and layered up and I have glittered each of the layers with crushed glass glitter.
