A Card for many Magnolia Challenges

Good Afternoon, its been awhile since I have created a card with the Magnolia stamps and I felt it was time I did so heres my first attempt, its one of the new Christmas Club Stamp set and I think shes quite cute in her little leggings and top. Ive stamped her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her afterwards I used a oval Nestabilitie Die to cut her out. The mount has been cut from white pearlescent with the floral oval die.
I didnt want to put any coloured papers behind her as the colouring I have used is rather bright so decided to use just white. The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and the first mount is of white card thats been put through my Grand Calibur and a 8"x 8" snowflake Die-seriee embossing folder then on top I have cut a strip of the same card but this time I have used a snowflake border punch and then around this I have wrapped a piece of white satin ribbon, this was then placed across the base mount.
I then positioned my mounted image towards the right and created a large bow and stuck it to the left.
To finish of I have used a large Poinsetta and placed that at the top on the left hand side and a few pearls were then placed in the two opposite corners.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges

Good Morning Everyone, I carnt believe its a week since I posted anything to my blog, I have been keeping my No.1 blog upto date but poor No.2 has been left out, anyway today Im going to try and rectify this and here is my card for this fortnights Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges, and this is one of the new Christmas Digi's from Funky Kits, isnt he cute. Ive printed him onto white card then used my copics to colour him, I then used a Rectangle Die from Spellbinders and then used a Daisy Chain die for the mount. The sentiment is a Just-rite one thats been cut out with a circle die and mounted onto a larger one.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and for my first mount Ive used a blue card, and the papers I have used are from Donna's Bearlymine Christmas papers, Ive used three papers in shades of fawn, turquoise and brown which are the colours that are asked for in the challenge.
Ive layered it up as the sketch requires and then used a Martha Stewart Snowflake punch to create the three snowflakes that have been placed at the top of the image.

A Anniversary Card for a Special Friend

Today I have had to rush around to try and get this card made so I can give it to a friend tomorrow, as I only see her a couple of times a week I wanted to be sure that I had it ready. Its her Golden Wedding Anniversary this coming weekend, and I wasnt aware of this till yesterday so its been a rush job. I just hope that she likes it, I love this heart its one of the Indigo Blu intrique stamps and Ive stamped it onto white card then used some gold embossing powder to then heat up. Ive cut it out then left it to one side while I created the rest of the card.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card and for the first mount Ive used a piece of white pearlescent card thats been put through my Grand Calibur machine, mind you I had to get hubby to remove the front lip as the stupid Spellbinders created the embossing folder to wide for it otherwise (I reakon theyve made the later models wider than mine) and I then wrapped a gold ribbon around the middle and attached it to the back of the first mount.
I then used some gold mirri board and cut out the large heart with a Cheery Lynn die, this was then woven through the ribbon and then stuck to the card. I then placed the embossed heart in the middle and created a sentiment on my computer and printed it and mounted it on a heart die cut.
To finish of I used several different sized roses and created a floral spray in the top left hand corner, and the final flourish are the yellow pearls in the bottom and top corners. Im now ready to pop it in a envelope to give her tomorrow when I see her at swimming, keep your fingers crossed she likes the result, mind you Ive still got to put a insert it in so Id better start looking through my verses and getting a move on before I forget that to.

Yet another card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges

I seem to be very lapse keeping up with my No.2 blog but I find that Im pretty busy with my No.1 blog that this one gets left behind at times, but I did create this card for this fortnights sketch challenge over on the Sugar Bowl and Ive used this sweet fairy image (stamp) from Funky Kits, isnt she a cutie? Ive coloured her with my copic pens then cut her out with my circle Nestabilitie Die then used some glitter on her wings (not to easy to see), then for the mount I have used one of the new Nestabilitie Die and this one is the "Resplendant Circle". The sentiment is one from my stash and has been mounted onto a piece of the same card as the mount for the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card, the papers I have used are from First Editions "Blank Canvas" paper pad this first paper has glitter flowers on it, and I have created the mounts in two of the papers and then layered it up as the sketch shows. The mounted image was then placed in the middle with the sentiment below. To finish of I have used four dew drops in the two opposite corners.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sundays with Santa Challenges

Good Morning Everyone, well the sun is trying to come out and its dry, but by gum the temperature seems to have gone down, do you think Autumn is on its way? I wouldnt be at all surprise that we dont have a cold winter but I do hope not.
Anyway todays card has been created for the Sugar Bowl Sketch and the Sundays with Santa's "Flowers" Challenges, and I have used this sweet image from Funky Kits and Ive stamped her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die Labels 23 to cut her out then drew around her to create the mount.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card, and the two papers I have used are from Donna of Bearlymine Designs new Christmas paper set, they are both with red and pink backgrounds with snowflakes of various sizes on them. These were laid as the sketch requires, and the mounted image was then positioned in the centre.
The sentiment is one from my stash, and to finish of I have placed three poinsetta flowers in the top left hand corner.
