A Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges

Well I must be going crazy as this is the second card created for this 2nd blog of mine this week, mind you I have also been writing up Challenge posts over the last two days so its not as if Ive not been busy, but I did create this for this weeks challenge over on Facebook for Sugary Sundays "Glitz" challenge.
Ive used this cute mermaid called "Water Lily" and I have stamped her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die No.8 to cut her then drew around the die to create the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been treated in the same way as the image.
Before making up the card I used some Quickie Glue on the tail and then scattered some glitter on it, and used some pearl glue for the dots on her hair. The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card and the papers are from Sweetshoppe Designs and this one is called "Coastal Getaway" appropriate considering the image. I have used three of the papers and mounted them up as shown and the image was then placed in the center towards the top and the sentiment below on the right.
To finish of I have used some pearl swirls and stuck them down the left hand side, to add the glitz that the challenge required.

A Card for the new Magnolia Challenge

Good Afternoon Crafters, Ive been trying for quite awhile to get around using one of these new Magnolia Images and at last I found a new Challenge over on Ribbon Girls and thought it was just right also to use these new Nestabilitie Dies.
I stamped Tilda image onto a piece of white card then coloured it with copic pens, and then used my new Basic Card Dies from Nestabilitie die on it and the surround is a new Rectangle die to. The sentiment is one of the Whimsey Love one and this was also stamped onto white card a heart die to cut it out.
The base card into a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card, the papers I have used from the First Edition "Adore" paper pad, the first a red background with white hearts on it, the second is a damask pattern and I used the Martha Stewart Border and Corner Heart punches on it and laid on top of the bottom layer.
I then cut out a border with one of the Memory Box Heart dies and laid it down the left hand side, then threaded a piece of red ribbon through a piece of white lace and laid it down beside the diecut. The mounted image was then positioned on the right and the mounted sentiment is positioned on top of the lace in the left hand corner.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges

Good Afternoon Crafters, well it was certainly an experience yesterday, firstly trying to get of our estate with all the snow and ice around and we left home at 7.30am to drive 21 miles to Gloucester Hospital, and usually it takes are 45 mins but yesterday it took just over an hour. The main roads werent to bad but of course the commuter traffic got worse once we got closer to the city, anyway thats enough of that, and the least said about my appointment the better all I will say is they wont be getting me to repeat the experience it was hellish and I just hope it was worth all the soreness.
But back todays card this is for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges, its charming on the SSC one and the other is a "Anything Goes" and I used this gorgeous "Rachael" image Ive printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I cut her out with a circle Nestabilitie Die and used the Esquisite Circle for the mount and some limegreen card. Ive not put a sentiment on this card as I would like to have it ready to add one when I need to do a card in a emergency.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of green card and the papers are from Maja "Walk in the Park" paper set, the first a beige background with leaves and berries on, the second is another beige paper with a marble effect on it, I used one of the Cheery Lynn Doily Dies for this then wrapped a piece of lace around the middle through which I have threaded a piece of lime green ribbon through.
To finish of I have made up a chain and with a dress charm I have tied it to a piece of the same green ribbon and tied in a knot.

Anyway yet again I have used one of the new Vintage Adorables from Funky Kits arent they gorgeous, this one is called "Amber" and I decided to colour with blonde hair and used my copic pens to colour her afterwards I used my circle Nestabilitie die to cut her out and a larger one for the mount, for this I have used mauve pearlescent card. The sentiment is one of the Pink Gem stamps and has been treated in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount mauve card and the papers are from Lili of the Valley and this one is by Nitwits, Ive actually used two papers, the first a green background with flowers on and the second paper is a mauve background with triangle pattern on and with this paper I have used one of the Cheery Lynn Doily Dies to cut out, then placed it on top of the first mount.
