Good Morning Crafters, well the sun is out and its quite warm here in Gloucestershire today, and Im not going to shout in case it decides to change. Today is the day my hubby has to go for his pre op tests ready for his skin operation on July 12th, so hes very worried that they will decide to keep him in hospital over night, but hes been promised it will be just a day operation and he will be allowed home once he recovers from the happy pills as hes been told their called. I do hope the reassure him he will be ok, he has to be in Gloucester by 8am so it will be a extremely early start for him, especially if he has to travel from here in the rush hour, oh well lets hope it gets sorted today one way or another.
Back to this gorgeous image, Ive just been introduced to Lacy Sunshine images, they are so cute and very reasonable to you will find them here, I chose to use this one for my first card and have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her. Afterwards I have used my oval Nestabilitie Die to cut her out and a Cheery Lynn Swedish die for the mount.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of bright pink card with three papers from the Sweetshoppe "A Perfect Birthday" the girls edition, the first is a white background with swirly flowers on, the second is a check one and the third a plain pink paper, then on top I have wrapped a piece of lace around the card with a thin ribbon along the top, I then created a triple bow and have stuck it to the lace on the left hand side, and a sparkly brad on top.
The mounted image was then placed in the center with the sentiment at the bottom on the left. To finish of I have created a flower spray down the side of the image with roses, pins, and a couple of other flower sprays.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-
