Good Morning all, well the sun is out and the wind has dropped so thats a relief, not sure if its going to last but we are of swimming in about 30 mins so I must pull all the stops out and get a move on. Anyway todays card has been created for Lovely hAnglars "Dots" Challenge, and Ive used this little sweetie for my image, Ive coloured her with my copic and tria pens before using an oval Nestabilitie Die to cut her out, the mount is the Eyelet Oval and Ive used red card for this. The sentiment is one from my stash and this has also been mounted onto red card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card and then one of three papers from Donna's Bearlymine Designs "Dots" digi download set, the first is a red background with white dots then on top of this I have layered up a further two papers in yellow and beige, both of these has been punched along both edges with a dot border punch from Martha Steward. On top of this is a yet another piece of the red card thats been put through my cuttlebug with a dotty background and then laid across the middle of the two papers.
I then used a needle and thread to draw up an strip of organza ribbon then stuck it down across the middle of the embossed strip with yet another red spotted ribbon wrapped around the middle. I then positioned my mounted image in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish of I used yet another piece of the red card and cut a swirl out this one was from the Doo Hickeys dies, and to finally finish Ive cut three Marianne Die flowers with some left over papers and rolled them before sticking them to my card on top of some punched out leaves with some silicone glue.

My Clematis
Nelly Moser
Vivian Pennell
Good Morning All, sorry no card photos today unless you would like to pop across to my No.1 blog where you will find this weeks The Paper Shelter Challenge. I thought for a change I would show you my Clematis that are just coming out, the Nelly Moser is quite full of bloom this year and hopefully it might come out again later on in the Summer, and the Vivian Pennell is stunning a real multi layered bloom and huge like a small tea plate, and I adore the colour to. Hope you like them, I do have other ones but they seem to come in to bloom at different times which is nice but I just adore these ones especially.

The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue pearlescent card, Ive also used this for the mount of the image and of the tag. On top of this I have stuck my one and only paper and its one from the Kay Millers "My Pretty Kitty" download didi papers, it has lots of cats on a blue background. I then wrapped a piece of lace around the middle with a white ribbon that has cats and butterflies on plus a few flowers along the top of the lace.
The mounted image was mounted towards the right as the sketch shows and then tucked my tag behind it, it has a sentiment on as well thats another of the Magnolia stamps. The final flourish is the two cat buttons stuck at the bottom on the left hand side.

A Card for a Brand New Challenge - Emerald Faerie Gardens "Anything Goes"
Good Afternoon Everyone, hope that its not as windy in your neck of the woods as it is here, but Im making the most of it and washing and drying my bedroom curtains, might as well before the weather changes again.
Anyway todays card has been created for a brand new Challenge Blog, Emerald Faerie Garden, and the first theme is "Anything Goes", Ive got to admit these fairies are so gorgeous and I love them, they are not only cute but so easy to colour as well. Ive used this sweet image sitting on a daisy and holding a ladybug, Ive printed onto white card and then coloured with my Copic and Tria pens, afterwards I cut it out with my Nestabitilie Die No.18 then drew around the die to create the mount for it. The sentiment is one from my stash and I thought it was just lovely for this image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of lime green pearlescent card, with a first of three papers from Donna's Bearlymine Downloads "Spring Flight" papers, this first paper is a green one with lots of flying butterflies on, the second one is a blue one with bees on and I cut it into a 5" square and Ive used the ladybug border and corner punch on it, this was layed on top of the first layer, the third piece is a strip down the middle in yellow with more butterflies on, I then wrapped a white ribbon with ladybugs on around the middle and attached it to the back of the first mount.
The mounted image was then positioned in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side. To finish of Ive created three flowers from some of the left over paper two in blue and one in green, this was then stuck to the card with silicone glue on top of punched out oak leaves. The last little thing is the little ladybug down in the left hand corner.

"Sundays with Santa"
Good Morning All, hope you are enjoying yet another bank holiday weekend, the sun isnt to bright today its rather cloudy but Im keeping my fingers crossed it cheers up later on. Anyway todays card has been created for the Sundays with Santa Challenge over on Facebook that Pops started up just after Xmas if youd like to take part you are more than welcome and start to get your stock of cards up ready for the end of the year, if you do here is the link, its a good way of at least getting together at least a sizeable pile. This weeks challenge is theme "Anything Goes" and so its an easy one. Ive used this sweet LOV image for my card and stamped her onto white card before colouring her with my Copic and Tria pens, I then cut her out with the Nestabilitie die No.9 and then drawing around the die to create the mount. The sentiment is yet one more of the LOV stamps and this has been given the same treatment.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card and one of three papers from Donna's Bearlymine Xmas papers released last Christmas, the first one is a pretty red background with a lace edge and a picture of Santa Claus in the bottom left hand corner, then across the middle I have used a red and white spotted paper thats been punched along both edges with a snowflake punch, on top of this is the third paper a pink and white sentiment one.
I then positioned my mounted image in the middle over a Cherry Lyn die cut doily with the sentiment below on the left hand side, to finish of I created a flower spray with three poinsetta's in the top left hand corner and stuck them to my card with silicone glue and some punched out holly leaves.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-
