Good Afternoon Everyone, well its been a busy day so far for us, we went to Chepstow to do our monthly shop and that took us 3 hours so you can well understand why everything is a bit behind. Anyway Ive just posted this on facebook as this is where the Challenge is and this week its Shaped Card. The card will be but away for a special friend of mine, I wont disclose her name as it wouldnt be a surprise would it. Ive used this gorgeous Penny Black image which Ive had in my stash for quite a long time the stamp itself is over a year old, and coloured it with my copic and tria pens, then used my rotatrim to cut it out. The base card is 6"x 11" which has been folded to create this shape and Ive used one pattern paper from the My Minds Eye paper pack that I got from one of my Craft magazine it was a freebie this month.
I then put my image in the centre and used a sentiment ribbon across the bottom underneath, to finish of I used two of my poinsettas as embellishments with some stickles on the petals.

One Card three Challenge
Good Afternoon Ladies, Ive at last got around to making a challenge card to cover several challenges and they are as follows Penny Black at Allsorts "Welcome Spring", Penny Black Saturdays "Pearls and Lace" and Sir Stampalots "Spring is in the Air" and I love this cute image of a hedgie in his flowerpot looking up at the bee buzzing around his flower. Ive stamped the image onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him, after which I used my Nestabilitie Die Label No.17 to cut him out and then used the same die to draw around and create a mount for it. The sentiment is one of the free TLC images and Ive printed this onto white card and mount this also onto a piece of the same couloured card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of green pearlescent card, and the first paper Ive used is from Donna of Bearlymine Designs "Spring Flight" papers a yellow background with bees and flowers on of various colours, pinks, yellow, and white, the second paper is a yellow based one with little yellow hearts on, the third is a piece of the same green card that had the edge punched with a lace punch and the same has been done with the fourth piece of paper which is another yellow based paper with flowers of blue and pink on, again Ive used the border punch down the edge. I then wrapped a piece of lace with some seam binding ribbon threaded through the holes and have attached it to the back of the first mount.
The mounted image was then positioned to the left hand side and the sentiment was put at the bottom on the right, I have stuck several white pearls down the edge of this side at the top, and then popped a white flower on the lace also at the top.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - "Pretty in Pink"
Good Afternoon Ladies, this afternoons card has been created for this weeks Penny Black Saturday Challenge "Pretty in Pink" and Ive used this cute image for my card isnt she a cutie (she has a border of hearts on her umbrella and collar) I stamped her onto white card then coloured her with my copic pens, then used Nestabilitie Labels Die No.1 to cut it out, then drew around the die to create the mount, the sentiment is one I created on my computer this was also mounted on some pink card.
The base card is 6"x 6" white card with a first layer of pink pearlescent card with one of three papers from Donna's Bearlymine Digi Papers, the first one is a very pretty butterfly and dragonfly one which you will find in the post below, and the two other papers are two shades of pink on which Ive used a butterfly border punch down the edges these were then layered on top of each other, and a pink satin ribbon was wrapped around the middle and attached at the back of the first mount.
The mounted image was then stuck to the right hand side and the sentiment at the bottom on the left. Ive punched out two corner pieces with my Marianne dies, and the last thing Ive done is create a flower spray with some different size roses and then were attached to the card with some silicone glue and punched out fern leaves.
