Making Christmas Cards for Sundays with Santa

Last weeks Challenge over on Sundays with Santa on Facebook was all about using sentiments as the main topper, and I thought I would give these two Heartfelt stamps a airing and created two cards with them.
I have stamped both of the sentiment stamps onto white card with Versamark ink pad and then scattered on gold embossing powder before using my heat gun to emboss it. I then used my copic pens to colour the leaves and the scene in the P on the top one, afterwards I used for the first one Nestabilitie Labels Die No.28 its a decorative one, and for the second is a Grand circle die. I also cut out two mounts with the top one by drawing around one of the Labels 28 die and cutting it out by hand, and for the second one I used a large circle die both of them have been cut out of red card.
The base cards are A5 cards and then for the first mount is a piece of red card, on top are a A4 pearlescent card cut in halve but before doing so I have run it through the Ebosser with a holly embossing folder.
Then around the middle I have used two ribbons and attached the to the back of the red mount before placing them both on white cards.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Facebook Challenges

Good Afternoon Crafters, yes Ive actually create a card for my No.2 blog, you must think I never make any cards during each posting but I have been busy I had to do a rush job for my friend Sarah Hallam as she had a preview program this morning on Create and Craft showing her brand new CD "Tangletastic"
And it was an outstanding success the whole supply were all sold out in just over 30 mins, it just goes to show how popular zentangle is, I unfortunately didnt get time to photo my samples so cannot show you what I did, as she needed the samples done in just a few days so maybe you might have had a glimpse on the show this morning, I just hope she received them in time for the show at 11am.
Anyway todays card is made for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sundays Autumn Colour Challenge
and I have used this "Lei-la" for my image and have stamped her onto white card and coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I have used Nestabilitie Labels Die No.28 and the decorative one for the mount. The sentiment has been stamped onto a banner from Memory Box.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of yellow card, the papers I have used are from SweetShoppe "Autumn Harvest" and I have used four papers for my card, the first a white background with leaves on and the second is beige one with flowers, the third another white background with leaf sprays on, then on top is a red paper with white dotted lines on.
The mounted image was then placed in the center and the sentiment across the bottom right hand corner. To finish of I have used several of the left over papers from the same paper set and punched them out with a daisy woodware punches, these where then moulded with a ball tool and stuck on top of one another and then placed in the top left hand corner on top of some punches out leaves.

A Special Card for a very Special Friend

Good Morning Crafters, a very special friend of mine is getting married next week and as I only heard through another friend this was taking place I thought I would like to make a card for her and hopefully send her my love and good wishes for a happy future. I have known her for at least 25 years and she went through a really bad time a few years ago and I happy that she has found someone else who she feels will make her happy, I do want to wish her all the best.
The image I have used for my card is a Whiff of Joy one and I have stamped it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, afterwards I have used Nestabilitie Labels Die No.1 to cut it out and a scalloped one for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and i felt it was just right for this image it also has flowers around the edge and its been treated in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a base mount of pink pearlescent, then on top is a one of two papers from the Confetti Paper Pack from Dovecraft, its old one that I had in my stash and its only used when I have a wedding card to make, actually my eldest daughter is also getting married in a few weeks time so it also came out for that one to.
The first paper is a pink and white stripe and in the corners I have used a Martha Steward border heart punch, this was stuck on the pink base, then on top is a second paper which is a white background with heart confetti design on it this was cut into a 6.75"x 5" oblong and then it was punched with the same heart punch I used for the corners and I have used the border punch with it as well.
Across the center I have used two white ribbons and attached them to the back of the first mount, I then placed my mounted image in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish of I have used several sized roses in pink and white and beaded swirls in a spray in the top left hand corner, the final flourish are the pearl sprays at the end of both of them.
