Through the Lens - samples for Sarah

I was asked at the weekend if I would start to make some samples for Sarah Hallam of Peerless Designs from her brand new pair of CDs titled "Through the Lens" which are several photos that Sarah has woven her magic over and created some stunning toppers, which will be previewed on Create and Craft at the beginning of December, will give you more details of that date when I get it.
Anyway here is a preview of the whats on them:-
And I started yesterday using the Mens one to create my first set of samples and here is the result.
And as my husband is a great lover of steam trains I thought I would use this photo of a old style station, I have used three of the papers from the Design Set and have created decoupage with the main image by printing three of the same image then cutting it out to create the layers.
The sentiment is from a Topper Set and I have taken it into My Craft Studio to put the text on it.
I do hope you will like these two CDs as they are just fabulous for both of the sexes.

My Gingerbread Card

Good Evening Crafters, this was the card I created for last weeks Sundays with Santa "Gingerbread" Challenge, Im not sure if you will like the card but at least I thought I would show it anyway. Ive used Pink Gems image and mounted it onto a piece of bown card, the sentiment is one from the Just-rite circle stamps and has also mounted onto a piece of brown card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of brown card, the papers I used are also from Pink Gem and I have used three of them for this card, one the beige one is the base layer and then on top I have used two more and a gingerbread border punch on both and layered them from the bottom, then wrapped a gingerbread ribbon around the middle.
I then cut two gingerbread men out, both are Sizzex dies and I put two wobbly eyes on the big one and just used orange ones for the second, I also used three black pears as buttons, these were then placed on the right and my mounted image on the left with the sentiment placed below in the bottom left hand corner.

A Card for several Challenges

Good Afternoon All, I had a lovely surprise yesterday morning I had this gorgeous stamp arrive from a very sweet girl Moira Haynes and this image is "Dolly Pip". Ive stamped her onto white card then coloured her with my copic pens, then used a large oval Nestabilitie Die to cut her out, and then drew around the die to create the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been mounted onto another piece of red card.
This card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card, the papers I have used is from the Kaisercrafts "Just Believe" paper pad, the first one is a cream background with swirls on the second is a check and the third a stripe. The card design is the one used for this fortnights Sugar Bowl Challenge and I have layered it up as the sketch shows.
I then positioned my mounted image in the center the sentiment down below it towards the right. To finish of I have used four poppies and some punched out holly leaves as again sketch requires.

A Pink Christmas Card

Good Morning All, well so far today we have had pouring rain, wind and now sunshine, so I was able to get my card photographed not an easy thing to do with these dull days. Anyway todays card has been made for this weeks "Pink Christmas" Challenge over on Sundays with Santa, but Im also going to enter it into Sugary Sundays "Anything Goes" and Sugar Bowl "Sketch with alternative Colour" Challenge, though the colours for the last one are not the same as above just hope they accept it in this colour choice but I have stuck to the sketch so it should be ok, keep your fingers crossed.
The image is a Funky Kits one and has been printed onto white card then coloured with my copic pens, afterwards I have used a large oval Nestabilitie die to cut her out, the mount is another of Fancy edged ones, the sentiment is one from my stash and has been treated in the same way as the image.
The base card as always is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card, the papers I have used are from Donna's of Bearlymine Designs "Pastel Christmas" digi paper Set and I have used 3 different papers, the first a pink background with snowflakes and the second and third are one check and the other a larger square pattern.
The mounted image was then placed towards the top and the sentiment below it. I then created four snowflakes with my Martha Steward snowflake punches and dipped them into glass glitter and layered them up and positioned them as the sketch shows.
