A Card for Sugary Sunday and the Sugar Bowl

Good Evening Crafters, Im so sorry for being so lapse on posting on this blog in the last week, but every other week is a double Challenge post write up for me and what with having the dog clipped yesterday Im very much behind. I did create a Sympathy card this morning and took it up to my friends, but I forgot to take a photo of it so you are not going to get a chance to see it, but my friend was pleased with the result so thats a relief.
Ive created this card from one of the Adorables from Funky Kits, isnt she gorgeous her name is "Hope" and I have coloured her with the colour scheme that Sugary Sunday challenge needed its in the post down below. I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her then afterwards I used a oval die to cut her out and a decorative one for the mount.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of aquamarine blue and the papers I have used are from Sweetshopped Digi Downloads and this set are called "Walked in the Park" and I have used three papers and layered them up as you can see.
I then placed my mounted image towards the top and then placed my sentiment below towards the right.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-

Oh dear what have I done?

We had our dog Missy clipped yesterday and shes obviously feeling the cold, she has a cubbyhole under my lightbox table and shes has gone under there and tucked herself into the doubled up bedspread and gone to sleep, my hubby just couldnt help taking this photo of her she looks so cosy dont you think?

A Card for Sugary Sunday

Good Afternoon Crafters, well the sun is out and its quite warm the dog has been lying in the sunshine coming in the back door but she has now gone for a nice afternoon walk. Ive just finished a load of ironing and thought youd like to see what Ive been doing this morning I created the card above for this weeks Colour Challenge for Sugary Sunday on Facebook.
I hope you think Ive got a good match with the colouring on my image, its one of the Funky Kits one called "Scooter" and its a fabulous image for a young lad. I stamped him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him, afterwards I used one of the new nesting basics from Nestabilities and the mount is also one of the new ones to this one is Enchanted Labels 4, the sentiment has also been mounted on the tag that comes with it.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of aquamarine blue and the papers are from Sweet Shoppe digi downloads and this particular paper set is called "A Year of Firsts" and I felt is was quite a good colour match, so I used one of the sketches I had in my stash and created the above card with it and then laid my mounted image in towards the left with the sentiment laid down the edge, it was to big to go under the image.

A Card for Sundays with Santa

Good Morning Crafters, well the sun is out and its looking a hell of a lot better than last Saturday and Missy will get her walk today which she missed last week. This weeks Challenge was to create a Christmas Card with non-traditional colours, and I chose this sweet image from Magnolia and coloured her in blues and greens then used a Ornament Die from Nestabilitie to cut it out then drew around the die to create the mount. The sentiment is one of my stash and has been treated in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of brown card, the papers I have used are from Carta Bella's "Christmas Day" paper set, both the designs are of Christmas Ornaments and I have used a beige background for the first paper and the second is a strip that has had both edges punched with a ornament border punch from Martha Stewart and stuck down the center of the first layer.
I then cut another ornament design out and ran through my eBosser with a embossing folder, this was then placed in the bottom left hand corner and my mounted image was placed towards the top in the center with the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.
