A Card for the Sundays with Santa Facebook Challenge

Good Afternoon Crafters, do you even feel you can never catch up with yourself, well today I think Ive met myself on the way back, after colouring up to images ready for forthcoming DT cards I then remembered I hadnt made my card for this weeks "Digi" Challenge over on Facebooks Sunday with Santa, well I just finished this card when I saw that I had won this weeks Challenge over on Sugary Sunday Challenge, both these Challenges are on Facebook and are great fun. I have been making up cards for both of them for the last year so I was lucky enough to find that I nearly had enough for all my friends and family when I decided to write them up a week ago, but having a few by is probably a good thing as you always find someone youve forgotten dont you?
Anyway Ive used this sweet Penquin image from Funky Kits and Ive printed it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, I then cut it out with my rotatrim and mounted it onto a piece of blue card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of one of Donna's Bearlymine Designs "Festive Fun" digi papers, the first paper is a blue background with snowflakes on, the second mount is another from the same set and is again a blue background with a white and red check pattern on, for the last mount I have used yet a piece of blue card thats been put through my cuttlebug with a embossing folder. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been mounted in the same way as the image.
I then positioned my mounted image in the center with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side.

A Card for Sugary Sunday "Halloween" Challenge

Good Afternoon, do you know the weather here in Gloucestershire is just awful weve got low lying clouds so its foggy and wet, what a difference to last weeks weather, I dont know about you but this change is just not on we want some warm sunshine, as the clocks go back an hour this coming Sunday the days are going to get shorter and I would have liked to have a few more dry days before then. Oh well you can dream.
Todays card has been made for this weeks Challenge over on Facebook, its a Funky Kits Sugary Sunday "Halloween" Challenge, and Ive used this image from Saturated Canary for my card, and Ive printed her onto white card and coloured her with my copic pens and then cut her out with one of my Memory Box dies and the spiderweb overlay and I finished it of with a spider that also one of the Memory Box dies.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of black card and the papers I have used is "Tricky" from the Sweetshoppe Digi Paper set, this first one is a dark black night scene of a moon and spooky trees, then I placed my mounted image to the left with yet another Memory Box tombstones border and three bats and to finish of I punched out a pumpkin and popped a sentiment on this.

A Card for Sugary Sunday Challenge on Facebook

This weeks Challenge over on Sugary Sunday on Facebook is to use Kraft Paper and Ive used it for the background rather than for my image. The image was stamped onto white card then coloured with my copic pens, its a Funky Kits Stamp by the way, I then cut it out with my oval Nestabilitie die and mounted on a larger oval cut out of the Kraft Paper.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and the first mount is a 6" square thats been put through my cuttlebug with a embossing folder, and I cut a smaller square and did the same with another of them, then around the middle I wrapped a piece of vintage ribbon and created a ribbon bow on the right hand side and finished of with a large square button in the middle.
The mounted image was then placed towards the left and the sentiment across the bottom right hand corner, to finish of I have used two roses in brown and cocoa and stuck them on top of some punched out leaves and these were stuck in the top right hand corner.

A Card for Facebooks "Sundays with Santa"

Good Morning Everyone, well its dry here in Gloucestershire but Ive no idea how long it will last, I hope it does till this evening as I have to take Missy for a walk after lunch and as the field is already muddy I dont really want to have to walk through it while its raining as well, not nice.
Anyway I dont want you fainting yes its my second post for this blog, this is the card I will be popping on facebook for this weeks "Shades of Red" Challenge, I have used one of the Funky Kits images and used my copic pens to colour her, then used Nestabilitie Die No.8 to cut her out and then used the fancy edge No.8 for the mount out of red card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card and the papers I have used are from Nitwits Tapestry Christmas Digi Paper Set, the first a very pretty red and white damask pattern and then on top I have used a red and white hounds tooth paper that I have used a holly border and corner punch on, this was then placed in the center of the first mount then used a snowflake corner die from Memory Box and this was placed in the two opposite corners top and bottom.
The mounted image was placed towards the left with a die cut sentiment from Britannia this was stuck across the bottom right hand corner.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges

Good Evening Everyone, again I do apologise for being so slack in posting cards this week but I do find that Im pretty busy and dont get much time to create special cards for this blog, but I will try and make amends as I have this one to show you and perhaps another one over the weekend but we shall see as tomorrow I have promised to show a friend of mine how to use copic pens and if I get a bit of spare time afterwards I will try and finish of the card Ive just started but we shall see.
Anyway this card is for the Sugar Bowl Sketch and colour challenge and luckily its almost the same as the one for Sugary Sunday on Facebook. Ive used this sweet Funky Kits image and coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used a square Nestabilitie die to cut her out and used a inkpad around the edge to stress it. Ive used the Marvellous Square die for the mount. The sentiment was one from my stash and I used a smaller die from the same set to mount it on.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of orange card, and the papers I used for this card are from the Sweethshoppe Digi Downloads and this design set is called "All Spice" the designs on the papers are just gorgeous and go so well with the image.
Ive layered up the card with the mounts called for in the sketch and then positioned my image towards the right and the sentiment on the right. To finish of I used some of the left over papers to create the flowers in the top left hand corner.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges

Good Morning, well its been raining again here in Gloucestershire so I guess Autumn is on its way, its certainly is in Scotland and this weeks Sugar Bowl Challenge is Autumn Colours plus Sketch, and for my card I have used one of the knitted Bears, isnt he cute? Ive stamped him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him, I then used Nestabilitie Die No.4 to cut him out then used a larger one for the mount. The sentiment is yet one more from my stash not sure whos it is though I did find it with the bear image so it may be a Funky Kits one, but dont rely on that. Ive mounted it onto a Nestabilitie double ended label diecut.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and for my first mount I have used a piece of brown card, the papers I have used a Bo Bunnys "Vicky B" paper pad, I have used four different ones in autumn colours, and mounted them up as the sketch expects.
I then positioned my mounted image towards the right with the sentiment underneath. To finish of I have used a wooded bird and stuck in on the bears hand, just in case the sentiment didnt quite look right.
