A Card for the Facebook ArtbyMiran Challenge

Good Morning Crafters on a wet and chilly Friday Morning, well it looks as if we have had our Summer doesnt it, I have a Christening to go next weekend so Im keeping my fingers crossed that it will improve or its not going to be very pleasant sailing along the broads afterwards for the party. Anyway I thought my card today might cheer me and you up, its the latest Progressive Image from ArtbyMiran and I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used my Sue Wilson dies to cut her out and a larger one for the mount out of pink card. The sentiment is also from the same design set as the papers.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of pink card the papers are also from ArtbyMiran this set is called "Pink and Blue" and I have used several of the papers and the second and third layers I have used a Martha Steward border punch on them and layered them up as shown in the photo, I then wrapped a bright pink rib
bon around the card and attached it to the back of the first mount.
Then on top I layered the last of my layers and popped the image and a jaunty angle and the sentiment at the bottom on the left. I then decided to use the last two papers from the design set and a Daily Bread Daisy die and used three different sizes and layered them up as shown and a pearl was positioned in the center.

A Christmas Card for Facebooks Sunday with Santa Challenge

This weeks theme for Sundays with Santa was all about "Sports" and this was the card I created for it, its Tilda out with her Ski's ready to take to the piste. I stamped her onto white card then  used my copic pens to colour and I then used a square die to cut her out and used a fancy one for the mount out of blue card and before I actually stuck it to the mount I used my sakura glue pen and fine glitter to create the feel of snow. The sentiment was created in the same way as the Image and mounted on a smaller die from the same die set.
The base card is a 6.75"x 6.75" white card and the first mount out of blue card the paper is from the Phil Martins paper pack and I have used a piece of the same blue card and a Martha Stewart border punch to create the layer across the card.
I then placed my mounted image in the top left hand corner and the sentiment was placed in the bottom right hand corner.
To finish of I have used some glitter drop along the punched piece of card.

Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper Challenges

Good Morning Crafters well we have reached another new month and of course over on Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper Challenge Blogspot we want to see your cards with Patterned Paper backing papers please and here is the card I created for this months Challenge, hope you like the result Im quite please with it.

This image is a stamp which has been stamped onto a piece of white card and then cut out with the dies that come with the vase and flowers. I then coloured the peonies with my copic pens, I had actually stamped this 6 times and the flower dies come with a main die and a section of the flower which you then decoupage up creating a fuller flower.
The base card is a 7" x 6" white card and this was then stamped with a smaller stamp from the same stamp and die set from Justrite stamps as you can see from the photos below. You will find these at
Craftasmic Craft Store

I then a red mount under each of the stamped out layers to give it more definition, the sentiment in the center of the vase is stamped with the vase itself so it fits exactly in the middle of it.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for this months Challenge.
