A Anniversary Card

This Anniversary card was one of two I created for my stash as I do have several Anniversaries next year so I like to get several created so that they can be used straight away when the dates come up. I have used several Sue Wilson dies from Creative Expressions, the Heart border, the middle die, tags and Cape Daisy, also I have used a Swirling Heart Embossing Folder and Pixie Powders on watercolour card and velum.
Not that I had much fun with the heart as it was quite difficult putting the edge around the hearts and a few naughty words were uttered, Also I had a problem with the pearl edge they were quite small strips and moved very easily when trying to lay them straight.
The flowers were created using the pixie powder coloured velum and this were created with the Sue Wilson cape daisy and layered up as shown in the photo.

A Card for the Progressive Challenge over on Facebook

Good Morning Crafters again Ive been rather naughty not keeping up with my posting over here on my No.2 blog, but I thought you might like to see my card created for the Facebook Progressive Challenge for ArtbyMiran, they run one every month and if you use their images they will give you another the following month and this is the little lady for this month.
Before I go any further Im not sure if you are interested but I have some blog candy over on my No.1 blog and it will close on the 19th November so if you would like a chance to win some goodies do pop over there Nannieflash and add your name to the inlinz.
I printed this image onto white card then I used my copic pens to colour it, afterwards I used a Nestabilitie to cut it out and for the mount I used a Snowflake die thats been altered to create a mount for it, before finishes off I have used some glitter along the white edges of her dress and sleeves.
The base card is 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of red card the papers are also from ArtbyMiran and I have used three of the papers as shown in the photo a green one for the first mount and a red and white strip and red one with lollipops on I have cut into squares and then used a Martha Stewart border and corner punches on them and layed them in opposite corners.
I then placed my mounted image in the center with the sentiment which is also from the same paper set and mounted this onto red card and this was placed in the bottom left hand corner. To finish of I have used a snowflake punch and created 4 double layered snowflakes that have been dipped into glitter and stuck around the card edge.

Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper November Challenge

Good Morning Crafter's, do you know we are only about 7 weeks away from Christmas I hope you have got all your cards made as you will need to get them finished soon to have them in the post by the beginning of December, I just need to sign mine and put them into envelopes, goodness knows how much its going to cost to post as its so expensive these days.
But today's card for this month I do hope you like the result

This was for a very dear friend who unfortunately passed away at the beginning of the year due to lung cancer but she was delighted with it so I hope you like the result. The image is a buggaboo image and I printed it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, afterwards I cut it out with my Nestabilitie rectangle die and a larger one for the mount out of red card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of red card, the papers are from Sweetshoppe digi papers and I have used three of them on this card and layered them up as shown in the photo. I then printed a sentiment on my computer and printed it and layered this also onto a piece of the same red card. To finish of I have used three red pearls in the top right hand corner.
I should say that my friend was in her 80s when she herself got on the back of her grandsons motorbike and rode it around the TT course on the Isle of Man where her daughter lives. She really was a spunky lady and I miss her so much.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will pop over to the Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will take part in this November Challenge.
