Good Morning Crafters, this weeks Challenge over on Facebook for Sundays with Santa is a "Snowflake" one and I thought I would use this Magnolia image of Edwin as my one for this theme. I have stamped him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him, afterwards I cut him out with my Nestabilitie Labels Die No.1 with a scalloped one for the mount. The sentiment down the right hand side is one from Papercrafts and cut out of blue card.
The base card is 6"x 6" white card and the papers are from Nitwits "Snow Folk" digi paper set, I have used three designs and the first a pale blue background with snowflakes on and the second is a embossed one with sentiments on and the third a darker blue background with yet more snowflakes on.
I then placed my mounted image in the center and to finish of I have used three snowflake diecuts to layer up and position in the bottom left hand corner of my image.

A Card for Sundays with Santa
Good Morning Crafters, well the sun is out and its looking a hell of a lot better than last Saturday and Missy will get her walk today which she missed last week. This weeks Challenge was to create a Christmas Card with non-traditional colours, and I chose this sweet image from Magnolia and coloured her in blues and greens then used a Ornament Die from Nestabilitie to cut it out then drew around the die to create the mount. The sentiment is one of my stash and has been treated in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of brown card, the papers I have used are from Carta Bella's "Christmas Day" paper set, both the designs are of Christmas Ornaments and I have used a beige background for the first paper and the second is a strip that has had both edges punched with a ornament border punch from Martha Stewart and stuck down the center of the first layer.
I then cut another ornament design out and ran through my eBosser with a embossing folder, this was then placed in the bottom left hand corner and my mounted image was placed towards the top in the center with the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.

A Card for the new Magnolia Challenge
Good Afternoon Crafters, Ive been trying for quite awhile to get around using one of these new Magnolia Images and at last I found a new Challenge over on Ribbon Girls and thought it was just right also to use these new Nestabilitie Dies.
I stamped Tilda image onto a piece of white card then coloured it with copic pens, and then used my new Basic Card Dies from Nestabilitie die on it and the surround is a new Rectangle die to. The sentiment is one of the Whimsey Love one and this was also stamped onto white card a heart die to cut it out.
The base card into a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card, the papers I have used from the First Edition "Adore" paper pad, the first a red background with white hearts on it, the second is a damask pattern and I used the Martha Stewart Border and Corner Heart punches on it and laid on top of the bottom layer.
I then cut out a border with one of the Memory Box Heart dies and laid it down the left hand side, then threaded a piece of red ribbon through a piece of white lace and laid it down beside the diecut. The mounted image was then positioned on the right and the mounted sentiment is positioned on top of the lace in the left hand corner.

A Card for my future Granddaugher in law
Three weeks Saturday my eldest grandson Andy will marry a beautiful young girl Laura and they will start their lives together, and I wanted to let Laura know how much she will mean to us by joining our family. Andy is one beautiful person and so is Laura and I know they will be very happy together or at least I sincerely hope they will. Laura is a fully qualified nurse and works very hard though I know they are hoping to start a family fairly quickly so I wouldnt be to surprised to hear that Im to be a great grandma in the near future. Anyway we have to send them some money as a gift and I couldnt think of anything nicer than to make her a card wishing her all the best for the 18th August, and here is the image I decided to use, its Tilda with her bridesmaid.
Ive stamped her onto white card then used my copics to colour her, and then used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.18 to cut her out, then drew around the die to create the mount which I have pleated lace all around the edge of. The sentiment is yet another of the Magnolia stamps which I thought was appropriate for the card, this has also been mounted onto pink card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card, the papers I have used are Kaisercrafts "Chanteuse" Collection a very pretty set of papers, the first is a white background with flowers and leaves on, and for the second I cut a 5" square and used one of my Martha Stewart border and corner punches on it, then placed it on top of the bottom layer. I then cut a heart doily
with one of the pink papers with a Cheery Lynn Die, and then wrapped a pink organza ribbon around the middle.
The mounted image was then positioned towards the right with the sentiment at the bottom on left.
And to finish of I created a flower spray with roses, carnations and pearls in the top left hand corner.

A Card for Just Magnolia's Sketch Challenge
Good Morning All, its been awhile since I used any of my Tilda Stamps and I thought for a change I would give them an airing, this is one of the new ones and she has a cuddly blanket and sucking her thumb, this so reminds me of my middle daughter Sarah as even at 45 she still has a crafty suck of her thumb when shes stressed, not really a good model for her 4 children but I suppose with teenagers its enough to make you want to stuck your thumb, Ive stamped her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a square Nestabilitie die to cut her out, the image was then mounted on a heart square from Spellbinders. The sentiment is yet another of my stash ones and has been mounted on the same pink card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card and Ive used 3 papers from First Editions "Dreamcatcher" paper pad, the first a cream background with pink butterflies on, for my second I have used a deep purple piece that has lots of flowers and more butterflies on it, and the third is another cream background with a pink chain pattern on.
I then positioned my image in the centre towards the top with the sentiment below on the left. To finish of I have used some of the left over paper to cut out a Royal Rose die cut from Die-namics and rolled it and then stuck it on some punched out pink leaves (left over paper) and put it in the top left hand corner.

Good Morning Everyone, Ive got to say that Im feeling rather rough today, I seem to have a very sore throat, earache, and chesty cough, not much fun believe me, anyway I thought before I just give in and go to bed I will post a card I started last night. Ive used one of the new Magnolia Christmas stamps and have stamped her onto white card before colouring her with my copic and tria pens, I then used the large Oval Nestabilitie die to cut her, and then used the Crowned Oval for the mount, this was cutout of red card.

A Card for Just Magnolia's "Pink and Purple" Challenge
Good Afternoon All, well Ive actually managed to create a card for this No.2 Blog and I will be entering it into the Just Magnolia "Pink and Purple" challenge and any other one I can find on my travels. I dont know if youve been suffering from the rain today but its certainly been rather heavy first thing this morning but from about 11am its been dry and sunny, but the black clouds are gathering so I suspect they will bring the rotten rain back again soon, it certainly causes trouble trying to get Missy house trained.
Anyway to get back to my card, Ive used this sweet image of Tilda in her Bridesmaid dress, and Ive colured her with my copic and tria pens, then used the Heart from the Xcut new Nestabilitie dies, It was then stuck on a Heartland Die from Cherry Lynn. The sentiment is one from my stash that been mounted on a strip of mauve card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and for the first mount Ive used a pink pearlescent card and one of two papers from the Henbury Lane paper set from Papermania, this first paper is a white background with pink scroll on, the second is a mauve spot one thats been cut into a 5" square and Ive used a heart border and corner punch on it, this was then layered on top of the first mount. I then used a piece of lace across the middle and threaded a strip of mauve seam binding ribbon through the holes, was then attached to the back of the first mount.
The mounted image was then stuck in the middle and a triple bow again made with the seam binding was stuck to the left of it, I also used a mauve cut out heart that was left from the mount and stuck this at the top on the right with a white pearl heart in the middle. The sentiment was stuck at the bottom on the right hand side.
To finish of Ive created a spray of mauve and pink roses in different sizes on top of some punched out leaves with some silicone glue in the top left hand corner.

A Card for Many Magnolia Challenges
Good Evening All yes I did eventually get around to creating a card, and this one is for several Magnolia Challenges, Ive used this sweet image of Tilda with her basket of roses, Ive stamped her onto white card then used my copic and tria pens to colour her afterwards I cut her out with the Nestabilitie Die No.17 to cut her out then used the metal die to draw around then cut it out with the scissors, the sentiment is one from my stash thats had the same treatment.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with my first mount of pink pearlescent card and one of three papers from the new "Love Letters" from First Edition paper pack, this first paper is a white background with a pink flower pattern on, the second mount is a dark pink paper thats had the Doo Hickey lace border punch used on both edges this was then positioned down the card and my third mount has another of flower patterned paper on it. Ive then wrapped a velvet ribbon lace strip around the middle and attached to the back of the first mount.
I then cut a large Cherry Lynn heart out and positioned it at angle with my mounted image stuck on top with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side. To finish of I created a flower spray in the top right hand corner with two different sized roses and two pearl sprays, these were stuck on the card with some silicone glue on top of some punched out fern leaves. The last little thing was the pearls stuck in the two opposite corners.
This card will be entered in the following Challenges:-

Well lets hope my card cheers you up and Im going to enter it for several Magnolia Challenges Just Magnolia's "Friends", Magnolia Stamp Lovers "Tilda with Posies", Magnolia Mania "Favourite Colours" and Magnolia Down Under "Sketch" and Im hoping that this card will meet all those rules. It used this sweet image of Tilda with a posy of hearts and stamped her onto white card and coloured her with my copic pens, then used Nestabilitie Die No.18 to cut it and then used the die to create the mount by drawing around it then cutting out by hand. The sentiment is one of my stash and mounted it onto a piece of the same blue card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and for my first mount is blue pearlescent card with one of three papers from the Nitwits "Hoppy Hearts" digi downloads the first paper is a white background with patchwork design flowers on, on top is a circle of blue pattern paper, then across the card Ive used a blue spot paper and along the two edges it has been punched with a border punch from Martha Stewart then on top I have put another strip of the same pearlescent card thats been passed through my cuttlebug with an embossing folder.
I then positioned my mounted image in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side.
To finish of Ive created a flower spray with three roses in two different colours and some punched out leaves has been arranged around the image at the top on the right hand side. And the last thing is the five pearl gems up in the top left hand corner.

A Card for Several Magnolia Challenges
Good Afternoon All, I meant to get this posted this lunch time but went swimming and Im trying to recover from that, anyway this card today is to cover several Magnolia Challenges, one is "Anything Goes optional Faux Stitching", a "Sketch", "Cat or Dog" and the last wants a "Bookmark" just hope this cover all of them.
I have used this sweet Tilda holding her cat and then one of the single cat stamps that Ive used twice once of the topper and once on the bookmark. Ive coloured them all with my Copic and Tria pens then cut the bookmark out with one of the Go-Kreate Tag dies, and the actual main image I cut out with my rotatrim and then gone around the edges of both with a black pen to create the faux stitching.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue pearlescent card, Ive also used this for the mount of the image and of the tag. On top of this I have stuck my one and only paper and its one from the Kay Millers "My Pretty Kitty" download didi papers, it has lots of cats on a blue background. I then wrapped a piece of lace around the middle with a white ribbon that has cats and butterflies on plus a few flowers along the top of the lace.
The mounted image was mounted towards the right as the sketch shows and then tucked my tag behind it, it has a sentiment on as well thats another of the Magnolia stamps. The final flourish is the two cat buttons stuck at the bottom on the left hand side.

A Card for two Challenges - Just Magnolia and Magnolia Stamp Lovers
Good Afternoon All, sorry Ive been so lapse but Ive been trying to get myself sorted and of course theres been my DT cards over on my Number One blog to get sorted and this poor blog has got forgotten. Anyway todays card has been created for the Just Magnolia's "Sketch by Bev" and the Magnolia Stamp Lovers "Easter" them, and Ive used this sweet image of Tilda and a baby lamb, please forgive it being not quite straight, I did put it down straight but I think the glue I used must have slipped on the blue mount and caused the topper to look squiffy. Anyway Ive coloured her with my copic pens then cut her out with a Rectangle Nestabilitie Die, then used a Scalloped one for the mount. The sentiment is yet another of the Magnolia stamps and this has been put onto a piece of white card and mounted with a small piece of the same blue pearlescent card I used for my image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of yellow pearlescent card and one of three papers from the "Spring Time" Forever Friends paper pack from Hallmark, the first paper is a yellow check pattern thats been cut in halve and positioned across the two halves of the bottom mount, on top of this is a large oval of yellow card with the second paper which is a pretty white base with daffodils and chicks on, then down the left hand side is the third mount and this is a blue strip thats been mounted on a piece of blue card.
I then positioned my mounted image in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom underneath it. To finish of Ive created three flowers with some of the left over papers and stuck them on the card at the top on the right with some silicone glue on top of some punched out leaves.
