My 1st DT Card for the "Anything Goes" Craftyhazelnut's Paper Patterned Challenge

As I announced last week Ive been invited to join Hazels Design Team for Craftyhazelnut's Paper Patterned Challenge Blogspot and this is my first DT card and I hope that you will go and visit the Challenge Blogspot and see all the new DTs cards.
Hazel has been running the Challenge Blog for a year now and as it had become so popular she decided to appoint a Design Team to give you some inspiration and also to help with the commenting.
And here is the Card I created for the 1st Challenge

I have used a Sherri Baldy image which has a very un-inspiring number its Image 749, I printed it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it. The sentiment was one I created on my computer and then printed it and mounted it onto pink card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount of bright pink card and the papers I have used are Bearlymine Designs, and I have used two of the "Love Dreams" papers, although these are now not available to buy Im sure that a lot of you have them already in your stash as Donna only just closed her shop when the new VAT charges came into force.
As you can see I used the red heart paper for the first layer and the second I have used a pink paper and a heart border punch from Martha Stewart.
I then placed a pink heart doily behind my mounted image which was then stuck towards the left center and the sentiment at the bottom on the right. I created a floral spray with pink roses of several sizes and placed them in the top left hand corner with some punch out leaves behind them. And the final flourish is the two heart gems in the top right hand corner.
Now that youve have seen my Card I sincerely hope that you will pay a visit to the Craftyhazelnut's Paper Patterned Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Anything Goes" Challenge.

The second card this week with a La La Land Image

Good Afternoon Crafters, well this card was made for this weeks Challenge over on Sundays with Santa on Facebook, its themed "Traditional Colours" and I have used this La La Land Skater image and I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.4 to cut it out and a fancy one for the mount.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card, the papers I have used are from Sweetshoppe Digi Designs "Christmas Wonderland" the first paper is a pale green which has Xmas trees along the bottom of it, then I have placed a strip of red paper down the right hand side and this one is a snowflake design.
I then placed my mounted image in the center and I then cut out with my dies a Merry Christmas sentiment and then placed this down the right hand side. To finish of I have used 4 red pearls in the top and bottom left hand corners.

My last card for 2013 - Sugar Bowl "Glittery Fairy Challenge"

Good Afternoon Crafters, well before I go any further I want to wish you all a Very Happy Christmas and to say that this will be my last card for 2013 as I want to take a break and perhaps recover some of my mojo which seems to be a little lacking in the last few weeks. And to be absolutely honest my hubby went to visit his daughters and grandchildren last weekend and came home with a rotten virus and I thought I had managed to avoid it but yesterday and today its hit really bad, my body aches and Im coughing like crazy so I just want to try and get rid of it before Christmas but I suspect knowing me it will hang around longer than I want.
Well todays card has been created using one of the cute Sugar Nellie Fairy stamps and I have printed it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, afterwards I cut it out using nestabilitie dies and the mount is a fancy one of the one used on the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and the first mount is a mauve card and the papers are from one of the Christmas Cds from Bearlymine Designs and I have used three of them to compliment the colouring of my image. I have also glittered the image on the wings and cuffs of the coat and her leggings.
To finish of I have used a diecut sentiment and a snowflake in the bottom left hand corner, in the center I have put a white pearl.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday

Good Morning Crafters, well Ive exceeded my own decision to get a card done for my No.2 Blog at last, but Ive got something to moan about, blogger has changed the way I get into my Dashboard, I can no longer click on the new post link in the top right hand corner, you now have to have a Blogger Dashboard link on your Favourite Sidebar, its so annoying as it was so much easier to get started on writing up your post. Dont know if you have also found this problem what I used to have was a bar at the top of my blogs which allowed me access to my compose page now its gone.
Anyway at least with a bit of scooting around Ive found my compose page and here is my card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Facebook Challenges, and for this I have used this sweet image of a Polar Bear with a little girl, its one of the Funky Kits images its called "Furry Friends" and I have stamped her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, the fur around the hat and gloves I have used my Wink of Stella clear glitter brush on, though you cant really see unless you click on the image and bring it up larger.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of white pearlescent card, the paper is from Bearlymine Designs, and the die cuts are from Memory Box, all three of them, the one I used for cutting out the image, the overlay and the bottom border.

Guest Designer for "Forever Friends" - "Die Cuts and Punches"

I was asked by my Team Leader Donna of Bearlymine Designs to be a Guest Designer for
as Donna was sponsoring the prize for this Challenge, and with a couple of other girls from the Teams I decided to take part and here is my card.
I did use one of the Forever Friends images for my card its actually a pre-coloured one, I cut it out with Nestabilitie Die No.1 and then I used a inkpad around the edge, Ive mounted it onto a piece of beige card thats been cut with one of the decorative dies from Spellbinders. The sentiment has been treated in the same way.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a piece of the same beige white card, then on top I have used  Donna's Bearlymine Designs "Floral Breeze", "Lacy Vintage" and "Small Dots" papers on it,
the first paper is one from the "Floral Breeze" paper set, and Ive then used one of the others for the doily which has been cut out with a Cheery Lynn die, I then placed my image towards the right hand side at the top with the sentiment below.
To finish of I have used some small dots paper and rolled flower dies from Die-namics and created several flowers which have been stuck on top of some swirls which were cut with a Cheery Lynn die down the left hand side of the card.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will go and visit Forever Friends Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the team have created for your inspiration.

A Pink Christmas Card

Good Morning All, well so far today we have had pouring rain, wind and now sunshine, so I was able to get my card photographed not an easy thing to do with these dull days. Anyway todays card has been made for this weeks "Pink Christmas" Challenge over on Sundays with Santa, but Im also going to enter it into Sugary Sundays "Anything Goes" and Sugar Bowl "Sketch with alternative Colour" Challenge, though the colours for the last one are not the same as above just hope they accept it in this colour choice but I have stuck to the sketch so it should be ok, keep your fingers crossed.
The image is a Funky Kits one and has been printed onto white card then coloured with my copic pens, afterwards I have used a large oval Nestabilitie die to cut her out, the mount is another of Fancy edged ones, the sentiment is one from my stash and has been treated in the same way as the image.
The base card as always is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card, the papers I have used are from Donna's of Bearlymine Designs "Pastel Christmas" digi paper Set and I have used 3 different papers, the first a pink background with snowflakes and the second and third are one check and the other a larger square pattern.
The mounted image was then placed towards the top and the sentiment below it. I then created four snowflakes with my Martha Steward snowflake punches and dipped them into glass glitter and layered them up and positioned them as the sketch shows.

I have been making up cards for both of them for the last year so I was lucky enough to find that I nearly had enough for all my friends and family when I decided to write them up a week ago, but having a few by is probably a good thing as you always find someone youve forgotten dont you?
Anyway Ive used this sweet Penquin image from Funky Kits and Ive printed it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, I then cut it out with my rotatrim and mounted it onto a piece of blue card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of one of Donna's Bearlymine Designs "Festive Fun" digi papers, the first paper is a blue background with snowflakes on, the second mount is another from the same set and is again a blue background with a white and red check pattern on, for the last mount I have used yet a piece of blue card thats been put through my cuttlebug with a embossing folder.
