My next two Cards for Sundays with Santa on Facebook

"White on White"

"Anything Goes"

Because I have my two grandsons coming to stay for a week I thought I would get ahead of the game and create my next two cards for Sundays with Santa on Facebook, if anyone is interested in joining our Challenge blog let me know and I will send you a invite, its brilliant to get a stash of Christmas Cards together ready for the Christmas.
And both of these two are very simple to create the first was done with a embossing folder on white Pearlescent card a sentiment and a couple of snowflakes punches out and stacked up. The second card I have used a pre-coloured image from The Paper Shelter and this is called "Snow Angels" and I printed it onto a piece of white card then cut it out and mounted in onto a white card, to finish of I have again used a pre printed sentiment in the bottom left hand corner.

Oh my yet another Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges

Good Morning Crafters, Im so glad that its cooled down a bit as my poor hubby couldn't cope to well with it nor could the dog, and now of course we are expecting thunder storms, lets hope they soon go and the sunshine comes back again as I have two of my grandsons coming this weekend and Im going to be busy to keep them occupied otherwise.
Todays card has been created for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges, the SB one is a "Anything Goes" and the other is "Summer Colours" and I have used this sweet fairy image from Funky Kits and coloured her shades of yellow and lime green. Afterwards I have used the Nestabilitie Die Labels No.8 and the fancy one for the mount. The sentiment is a folded banner die from Memory Box and the sentiment is one from my stash thats been stamped onto white card and placed on the middle.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card is the first mount is a lime card and the papers are from Sweethshoppe Designs "Flowers in the Rain" digi papers, and I have used four papers from it, the first a green background with butterflies on, the second is a yellow checked one which I have cut in a strip and used one of the Martha Stewart border punch on the edge. The third is a chevron patter in shades of green and the fourth is a yellow and white spotted one, these then placed at angles to each other on the base mount and then the mounted image was placed towards the top on the left with the sentiment below on the right hand side.
To finish of I have used 6 green pearls that have been placed in the two opposite corners top right and bottom left.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl

Good Afternoon Crafters, yes I know Ive been a naughty girl again and unfortunately this card may be the last for a couple of weeks as two of my grandsons are coming to stay next weekend for a week, they are the sons of my youngest daughter so I dont get to see them very often as they live quite a long way from me, so to have them for a week is just fabulous.
And this is what my dog feels like in this weather, she is finding it rather hot.
She wont stay on her own in the garden and once I go upto my craft room guess who follows Missy, she has her own bed on the futon settee by the side of my desk, and she makes herself comfortable on a pillow, though at this moment shes moved of onto the patchwork quilt, must be cooler.
Todays card has been created with one of the new Funky Kits Fairies, and I have stamped her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her. Afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.1 and a fancy one for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and that has been then cut and mounted on a folded banner diecut from Memory Box.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, the papers are from Maja and I have used three papers for my card. The mounted image was then placed in the middle with the sentiment down below on the right hand side.
To finish of I have used some clear dew drops as embellishments in the two opposite corners top and bottom.

A Card for Sundays with Santa (Facebook)

Good Afternoon Crafters, I hope that you are enjoying the hot weather, I think my poor dog is finding it a bit much, but weve had her clipped so that's the best we can do at the moment other than only taking her out when its not so hot, I was out at 8am this morning well before it got to hot so she will have to have her afternoon one after 5pm I think.
Well Ive had a busy week as you can catch up with on my No.1 blog, my hubby had a operation today to have a blemish on his neck removed we are now waiting for the results of the biopsy to see if he needs more removed, keep your fingers crossed he doesn't have to. And the other more worrying news is my grandson Joe, he had a terrible fall out of tree last Sunday and broke his left arm very badly, hes already had 3 operations to sort it out and hes now been transferred to Stoke Manderville for a skin craft hopefully to close up the wound as they couldn't do it on Wednesday due to his muscles and tissues still being very badly swollen, Im keeping everything crossed that it works this time.
Anyway back to my card, this has been made for last weeks "Mens" challenge and this is the result, I have used a rubber stamped image of the vintage postcard and have mounted it onto red card then mounted it on a mounted piece of "A Very Merry Christmas" paper with a ribbon around the right hand side and with some sentiment die cuts (new) which I see Ive not quite got straight, sorry about that.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges

Good Evening Crafters, I do apologise for not posting any cards for awhile but we only got back from Looe on Saturday and since them I have been rather busy, shopping and generally catching up with washing and ironing, and today I had three skirts to take up as well, but I have made two cards and this is one of them. This is one of the new Fairie Glenn images and I have printed her onto white card before colouring with my copic pens, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.31 to cut it out and then drew around the die to create the mount out of lilac card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a base card of lilac card and the papers are from the new First Edition "New Bloom" paper pad, I have used three papers and layered them up as above, and then placed a doily under the first two and the mounted image towards the left.
I then used some of the left over card to cut out a Crafty Ann Flourish and stuck it in the bottom right hand corner, I have dropped pink pearl drops in places along the branches. To finish of I have stamped a sentiment and mounted it on a piece of the same lilac card and placed at a angle in the top right hand corner.
