Good Morning crafters, Im so sorry Ive been away for so long but if you visit my No.1 blog you will see why, I attended my eldest daughters wedding in Scotland and had a wonderful time. We actually left on Thursday as I had made arrangements to visit Elaine Livesay in Oldham and it was worth every moment of it, shes a wonderful person and made us feel so welcome and we also got to meet her gorgeous son Hal (who had come home to visit his mum on his Birthday, bless him) and her lovely hubby Phil, thanks love for a wonderful afternoon and thank you for taking time of work to spend it with us.
Then we spent the night in a motel before going on to Hamilton for the next 3 nights, hubby Ian had booked a excutive room which was fabulous, I felt like a princess. The wedding was on Saturday and the weather was really kind and we had a wonderful day and everyone looked stunning. Then on Sunday we spent some of the day visiting the New Museum of Transport in Glasgow which my hubby wanted to go to for along time, he loves steam trains and along with lots of methods of transport he really did enjoy the trip. And we also watched the Marathon runners running past the building, and I did feel sorry for them as it was raining and they did look wet and uncomfortable some of them.
Then on Monday we went to Edinburgh to visit another of my dear friends Avril, and guess what Nikki had made the trip from Dundee to see us with her gorgeous children and her new babe who I hadnt met last time we were up in Scotland. Thanks Avril for such a lovely morning and I hope your not to tired looking after the children while mum takes a break. Hope you liked the cakes we left.
Anyway back to my card I have used one of the gorgeous Funky Knits images and I printed it onto a piece of white card then coloured with my copic pens, then I used Nestabilitie Dies to cut it out and mounted it onto another of the new Gold Labels in lilac card.
The base card is a white card with a piece of lilac card, and the papers are from Maya papers and then on top of this is a square doily and across the center is a piece of ribbon attached to the back of the first mount. The mounted the image in the center with a sentiment below in the right hand corner and the final thing is the die cut flourish in the left hand corner.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-
