Good Evening Crafters, well its been a few days since I last posted and Im still finding it difficult to find the memo to creating more cards to post, I am making the odd Christmas cards for my stash and this is one for the Sundays with Santa Facebook Challenge, this weeks is "Shades of Red" and I have actually used The Paper Shelter "Are you my Friend" and you will find it here and I have printed the image onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, I then cut it out completely.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and for my first mount I have used red card, then I used the one of the new "Merry Christmas Vintage Quick Papers" and you will find them here, then I have placed my cut out image in the center, before doing so I have used glitter on the white fluff of her had and coat, then for her beard and hair I have used Deco Art Snow Writer and swirled it to represent hair.
I then cut out the sentiment from a Britainia die, and these then placed down the right hand side of the image.

My next two Cards for Sundays with Santa on Facebook
"White on White"
"Anything Goes"
Because I have my two grandsons coming to stay for a week I thought I would get ahead of the game and create my next two cards for Sundays with Santa on Facebook, if anyone is interested in joining our Challenge blog let me know and I will send you a invite, its brilliant to get a stash of Christmas Cards together ready for the Christmas.
And both of these two are very simple to create the first was done with a embossing folder on white Pearlescent card a sentiment and a couple of snowflakes punches out and stacked up. The second card I have used a pre-coloured image from The Paper Shelter and this is called "Snow Angels" and I printed it onto a piece of white card then cut it out and mounted in onto a white card, to finish of I have again used a pre printed sentiment in the bottom left hand corner.
These Cards are to be entered in the following Challenges:-

A Card for Sundays with Santa on Facebook - "Sport"
Good Afternoon Everyone, I dont seem to know what day it is what with all the Jubilee celebrations, and our monthly shop on Sunday, these last few days seem to have flown by. I had an appointment with the doctor this morning and I was dreading she would tell me I needed to go on statins, anyway as my eye test at the hospital turned out to be the start of a catarach and not chloestrial problems I dont have to start on them at the moment, thank goodness but she will keep an 6 montly check of my level and then if necessary put me on them then. Im not to happy about my eye problems being a catarach but it could have been a lot worse so for now I dont have to panic.
Well now you know my health problems I thought I would post this card I made for Sundays with Santa on Facebook, this week its all about sports the usual winter ones and I chose this pair of skaters from The Paper Shelter for my main image.
Ive printed them onto white card and used my copic pens to colour them, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.1 to cut them out and a larger one for the mount. The sentiment is one of Personnal Impressions ones and this has been also mounted onto a piece of blue card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card and one of Donna's Bearlymine Christmas Background Designs, I then positioned my mounted image in the centre with the sentiment below of the right.
Just before I sign of, have any of you bloggers out there had problems with Internet Explorer, it wont save my post as Im writing it up, Im now having to use firefox all the time. Its so frustrating I spent 2 hours yesterday writing up a Challenge Blog only for it not to have been saved.

A Card for Sundays with Santa on Facebook - "Travel"
Good Morning All, has anyone noticed just how quickly the weeks are going by, here we are at another one, and at least today the sun is trying to come out, lets hope it does as I would like the weather to improve a lot before we take of for Cornwall in a couple of weeks, as its so miserable when it gets misty down there you miss so much of the scenery. Anyway back to todays card, this is for this weeks Challenge over on Sundays with Santa, its a weekly challenge that we set ourselves to create cards for Christmas, there isnt any money or prize involved it just gives us the chance to build up a reserve before December. Anyway this weeks theme is "Travel" and Ive used this Paper Shelter one of a young lass on her sledge delivering her Christmas Parcels. Ive printed her onto white card then used my copics to colour her, afterwards I used the new Die-namics Rectangle dies to cut her out, then used a larger one and some red card for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash, Im sorry I dont know hows it is as I usually take the backing paper of, silly really but my poor drawers are stacked to bursting and if I kept all the paper it just wouldnt shut.
Anyway the main card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card, and the papers I have used are from Donna's Bearlymine Christmas ones, the first is a red background with holly and sentiments on, the second is a blue background with similar design, I used one of my Cheery Lynn doily dies for this and placed in towards the left of the base layer.
I then positioned my mounted image on the right and the sentiment below it, to finish of I have used another of the Cheery Lynn dies to cut a holly swirl and stuck to the left of the image and a poinsetta was then stuck to the card at the top with some punched out holly leaves.

Sundays with Santa "Holly"
Good Afternoon Everyone, well its gorgeous outside and quite mild, I will have to take her ladyship out for a walk presently as she always starts to get fidgety about 1.30pm, as hubby normally takes her but as hes volunteering today its my turn to take her. She loves her walk and weve also started letting her of the lead to run around, and she loves that but Id better but my wellies on as the field is still rather wet and muddy and I dont want to come back with all the mud on my shoes as hubby did this morning.
Anyway todays card has been created for this weeks "Sundays with Santa" challenge over on Facebook, this week its themed "Holly" and I didnt bother looking for an image with holly on I thought as Id printed his gorgeous Paper Shelter one Id use this one instead. I coloured her with my copic and tria pens then used a circle Nestabilie Die to cut her out, and used the picot edged circle die for the mount. The sentiment is a Just Rite stamp thats been cut with a small circle die, Ive coloured the holly also before mounting it on a larger circle mount.
The base card is 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, the paper I have used is a Bearlymine Design paper a blue background with sentiments and holly pattern on, Ive then wrapped a white ribbon with holly on around the middle and positioned my mounted image in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side.
To finish of Ive cut several holly leaves out of dark green paper and with two holly berries sprays layered them up on the card in the top left hand corner and stuck them to the card with some silicone glue.

A Card for this weeks "Sundays with Santa" Challenge
Good Morning Everyone, yet another Sunday has arrived and for this weeks Challenge over on Sundays with Santa we want to see your cards with Santa on, and Ive used this sweet image from The Paper Shelter for my card, just thought it would make a change from the usual image, you will find it here. Ive printed it onto white card then used my copics to colour it afterwards used the Nestabilitie Die No.7 to cut it out and then used the metal die to draw around for the mount, the sentiment is one from my stash thats been treated in the same way.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card and one of Donna's Bearlymine Designs Xmas Papers, a deep red background with a Santa image on. Ive then used my Memory Box corner dies to cut out with white pearlescent card the two corners and stuck them in opposite ones.
Then positioned my mounted image in the centre and the sentiment in the bottom left hand corner for a change.

A DT Card for "The Paper Shelter"
Good Afternoon Ladies, its a few days since I posted anything on this blog so I thought today I would post one of my DT cards for "The Paper Shelter" and Ive used this fun image of "Pepe L'Souris who has a cold," but you know what men a like theyve always got "Man Flu" or at least thats what my husband always says when he starts sneezing and sniffing.
Ive printed it onto white card before colouring it with my copic pens, then cut it out with a set of Nestabilitie Dies that were commissioned by Create and Craft this one is "E" and Ive used it to draw around the die to create the mount for it.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and Ive used three papers from Donna's "For the Boys" new digi papers set and I would urge you to pop across to her website click here and see the rest of her beautiful new papers and even get a 15% discount, this is the code NF10 you must quote this code when you email Donna for your order and it only lasts till the 7th February so its worth popping over there as soon as possible.
The papers I used are ideal for any male card and the ones Ive used are just right for this card, I created a card design for myself, and stamped a sentiment from my stash and the last thing is the stethoscope button that Ive stuck at the bottom on the right.
