Another Card for the Facebook Challenge

Good Morning Crafters, well its another week gone by over on the Sundays with Santa Challenge and for this weeks theme we want to see Easels and as I was making some cards up with the Snowman and Snowdog paper pack I thought I would use one of the images and cards to create my card.
I took half A4 piece of card folded it in half and then twisted one of the corners for the easel.
The image as you can see is the snowman skiing and I then placed him on the twisted piece and cut out one of the little dog images and used it as a stopper.

A Card for Sundays with Santa "Flowers" Facebook Challenge

Good Morning Crafters, well I hope your ready for this weekend we are of to London and Kent for a few days to visit family, thats the problems of living so far away from them theres always a long journey to visit them. Anyway I decided to get ahead with this weeks "Flowers" Challenge and I have used the "Christmas Carol" image from The Paper Shelter and printed it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it. Afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.1 and then used a scalloped edge one for the mount.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card, the papers I have used are again from The Paper Shelter they are called "Christmas Wishes" and I have used three papers for the card and several others for the Poinsetta, which is cut with a Tattered Lace die. I also used dew drops and the sentiment is which was cut with another die.

A Card for Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday

Good Morning Crafters, well yes I have created a card though to be absolutely honest I have been creating cards in the background and not been able to post them as they were all for future Challenges over on The Paper Shelter, and you might well ask the reason why, well its because my eldest daughter Karen is getting married in October and we are of to Scotland for the ceremony and Im also combining it with a couple of very special visits to two friends as well, one on the way up and one before I come home. Im so excited by not only the wedding but also the visits to my friends roll on October I really cant wait.
Well todays card has been created for the Sugar Bowls "Anything Goes" and Sugary Sundays Facebook "Gingham" Challenges and I have used this sweet image which I have stamped onto white card then several layers of gingham papers, then I coloured the face, arms, legs, hair and boots then cut out the layers of gingham papers and layered them on top of the white image.
Afterwards I cut out the image with my Nestabilitie Die and the Detailed Scalloped one for the mount out of lilac card. The sentiment is one from my stash and again it has been cut out with another Nestabilitie Die which is in the same set as the Detailed Scalloped one.
The base card is a 6"x 6" and the first mount is a piece of the same lilac card, the papers are from one of my CDs which I bought on Ebay many years ago, they were created by Sue Bottles of "Country Classics" she really does make some beautiful designs and these are some of them.

Sundays with Santa "Charms"

Good Afternoon Crafters, well yes I know I should be ashamed of myself for not keeping my blogging upto date, but to be honest Ive rather lost my mojo for it, so please forgive me I will try to improve but at the moment I really dont have the need or want to do it. But I have created this card for this weeks Challenge over on Facebook "Sundays with Santa" Challenge and its all about Charms.
The image is from Hunkydory as is the sentiment, all I have done is taken a piece of red card and ran it through my embossing machine with a holly folder, then wrapped a ribbon around the middle and fixed it to the back of the red card.
I then stuck my topper in the center with the sentiment down in the right hand corner. To finish of I have used some red satin ribbon and a Christmas Stocking Charm and created a bow with the charm hanging below.

Look how much my great grandson has grown

Here is Jacob with his cousin Keira, isn't he doing well. He's now 5 months old, and I will probably get to see him again when my eldest daughter gets married in October, and no doubt he will be sitting up by then.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges

Good Afternoon Crafters, it does such a long time since I posted a card on here that I thought it was time I remedied it and here is the result. The image is a Funky Kits one and it is called "Country Garden" and Ive stamped her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die Labels 28 to cut her out and a new decorative one for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and I have stamped it also onto white card then cut it with my rotatrim and mounted it onto a piece of blue card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, the papers I have used are from Maya's "Vintage Summer" Paper pad, and I have used two papers and a doily thats been placed on the base blue paper, one of them also has a reverse pattern on it, the pink one. All my favourite things papers, images and flowers.
The placed my mounted image towards the top in the center with the sentiment below. I then sprayed the large and small daisies with one of my yellow copic pens and arranged them in the top right hand corner. The last flourish is the six pearls down the left hand side at the top and bottom.
