A Card for the Sugar Bowl

Good Morning Crafters, well keep your fingers crossed that today stay dry as Im taking my dear hubby out for dinner, as its his 70th Birthday on Tuesday and hes not really a party animal and I thought it would be a nice change and we are meeting up with a few friends as well.
Its been awhile since I used a Sugar Nellie image to create a card and this one has been lying around for about 6 weeks since I coloured it and I thought I would drag it out and get a card done, and I do hope you like the end result.
This one is titled "Floral Ladies 4" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card then coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I cut her out and layered her up onto a piece of pale craft card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with yet again a piece of the same pale craft card, and the papers are from Maya's "Coffee in the Arbour" I have used 3 peices and placed them across the card, then placed my mounted image towards the left and then placed three pearls in the top right hand corner ( I see one has slipped) and down the bottom I have put a sentiment that was die cut out of the same pale craft card.
This card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-

Good Morning Crafters, well I have managed at least to get a card done this week and I have used one of the brand new digi images from Funky Kits and I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, and the papers are from Maja "Coffee in the Arbour" and I have used three papers the first one is a blue background with white daisies on and the second is a green paper and I have used a Martha Stewart Border punch on it, the third is a blue one.
I then placed my mounted image in the center and a sentiment at the bottom right hand corner. To finish of I have used three large pearls in the top right hand corner.

A Card for the Sundays with Santa Facebook Challenge

Good Afternoon Crafters, its really beautiful here in Gloucestershire and my dog has spent quite awhile laying in the sunshine by our back door, she loves the warmth of the rays and will move once they have gone.
Firstly I want to let you know that The Paper Shelter are running a DT Challenge over on their Challenge website, if your interested in joining our Design Teams please do go and see all the details over at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see for yourself what is involved.
http://thepapershelter.blogspot.co.uk/
But Ive got a card I want to share with you, I won a gorgeous stamp on Sugary Sunday a couple of weeks ago and received it yesterday and as we have a Challenge on Sundays with Santa I thought it would be a good idea to use it as the theme is "Never seen Ink" and of course as this was a new stamp it hadnt.

She is called "Little Boots" and I have stamped her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, I then used Nestabilitie Labels Die No.8 to cut her out and the fancy one for the mount. I cut the sentiment out with the Britannia Dies from blue card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and the first mount is blue card and the papers I have used are from Maya Paper Pad "Vintage Frost Basics" and I have used just the one paper and then placed my mounted image in the center and the sentiment was then stuck down the right hand side of my card.

A Card with one of the La La Land Images

Good Morning Crafters, I thought it was about time I used a couple of my La La Land images and as the weather is rather cold I thought this was a ideal one to use first, not sure if we are in for some snow in the future but it would preferable to the rain weve been enduring, its really bad along the Severn and Wye Valley both rivers are now flooded and Im so glad that my house isnt to close to the river or no doubt we would be in the same boat as several people are already.
The image I have used is a Snowboard image and I have coloured it with my copic pens and then cut it out completely. The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, the paper is from the Maja Vintage Frost Basics and on top of this I have used two die cut which have been cut with Memory Box dies, I then used stickles along the edges of both the tree and the mountains and houses.
I then placed my cut out image in the left hand corner and punched a snowflake with a Martha Stewart punch, and on top I put a sentiment and cut this out with my Nestabilitie circle die.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges

Good Morning Crafters, well you will be having a fit yes I have created yet another card for this No.2 Blog and this one is with a Sugar Nellie image and I love this sweet image, I have stamped her onto white card and coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used Nestabilitie die to cut it out and a fancy one for the mount out of lilac card. The sentiment is one from my stash and the mount is from the same set as the mount.
The main card is a 6"x 6" white one with a first mount of lilac card and the papers are Maya ones and this is such a pretty paper in blues and lilacs, and then around the middle I have placed lace and ribbon and attached it to the back of the first mount.
The mounted image was then placed towards the left and the sentiment down the right hand side over the ribbon. To finish of I have stuck three heart gems down the right hand side at the top.

Another Card for the Sugar Bowl

Good Morning, and yes I have another card for the Sugar Bowl and this is one of the new Digi Images from Sugar Nellie and I have chosen this time to use "Gift Wrapping" and I have printed her onto white card and then used my copic pens to colour it, afterwards I have used Nestabilitie Label Die No.1 to cut it out and the fancy one for the mount. The sentiment is a Die-namics banner die and the actual stamp is one from my stash.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount with a lilac card, and the papers are from the new Maya "Vintage Frost" Basics for the layers, I have used two papers the first a very pretty mittens design and the second is a pink/lilac paper with a smokey pattern on, I have also used a bit of the same lilac card and the deep edged border punch for one of the layers.
I then placed my mounted image in the center towards the top of the card and the sentiment across the bottom right hand corner. And to finish of I have punched out several snowflakes with my Martha Stewart punches and some German Glitter and then layered them up and placed them in the bottom left hand corner.

The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, the papers I have used are from Maya's "Vintage Summer" Paper pad, and I have used two papers and a doily thats been placed on the base blue paper, one of them also has a reverse pattern on it, the pink one. A Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges

Good Afternoon Crafters, well it was certainly an experience yesterday, firstly trying to get of our estate with all the snow and ice around and we left home at 7.30am to drive 21 miles to Gloucester Hospital, and usually it takes are 45 mins but yesterday it took just over an hour. The main roads werent to bad but of course the commuter traffic got worse once we got closer to the city, anyway thats enough of that, and the least said about my appointment the better all I will say is they wont be getting me to repeat the experience it was hellish and I just hope it was worth all the soreness.
But back todays card this is for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges, its charming on the SSC one and the other is a "Anything Goes" and I used this gorgeous "Rachael" image Ive printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I cut her out with a circle Nestabilitie Die and used the Esquisite Circle for the mount and some limegreen card. Ive not put a sentiment on this card as I would like to have it ready to add one when I need to do a card in a emergency.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of green card and the papers are from Maja "Walk in the Park" paper set, the first a beige background with leaves and berries on, the second is another beige paper with a marble effect on it, I used one of the Cheery Lynn Doily Dies for this then wrapped a piece of lace around the middle through which I have threaded a piece of lime green ribbon through.
To finish of I have made up a chain and with a dress charm I have tied it to a piece of the same green ribbon and tied in a knot.

A Card for the LOV "Diamond and Pearls" Challenge

Good Morning Everyone, sorry Ive been so lapse in posting lately but as you can gather Ive been busy with the dog and my DT work so that I can be all ready for our trip to Cornwall at the end of May, these Challenges come around so quickly and you need to be ready in advance, anyway I think Ive got a bit of spare time at the moment. I dont know about you but Im not enjoying using the new Blogger page we use for writing up our posts, I carnt use it at all in Internet Explorer which is the browser I usually use and at the moment Ive having to use Firefox, but all my links arnt in this one, and of course the Google Chrome is even worse as you dont get the favourite bar down the side so its useless.
Anyway back to todays card, Ive used this sweet image for my card ( I didnt realise it was a bit crooked, sorry about that), Ive coloured her with my copics then cut her out with a square Nestabilitie Die, and the mount is one the Lacey Square die, the sentiment is one I found on the internet and felt it went quite well with the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, the papers Ive used are from Maya and its a beautiful white background with flower sprays on it, on top I have used a stripe of dark blue with white hearts on and used a Martha Stewart border punch on both side and have stuck it down the middle of the base layer. Then around the middle is a piece of web ribbon and attached to the back of the first mount.
I then positioned my mounted image in the centre with the sentiment below, Ive finished of with two flower punched out with one of my flower punches and mounted on top of a swirl with diamonds in the centres, then down two opposite sides I have place diamond stripes. I also used some small pearls on the images necklace.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl Challenge - "A Sketch"

Good Afternoon Everyone, sorry Ive not posted anything here since last week, but if youd visited my No.1 blog you would know that my Mother in Law passed away on Monday and I didnt think it was quite appropriate to post anything. Anyway today Ive just finished my card for this weeks Sugary Sunday on Facebook and Ive combined it with this weeks Sketch and Kraft Challenge for the Sugar Bowl. I have used this sweet image of a little girl opening her box with a soft bunny in, and coloured in in shades of blue for the Facebook challenge, and then cut it out with one of my circle Nestabilitie Dies. The sentiment is one from my stash.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of Kraft Card, then used two papers from the Maja "Life in the Country" paper set, and mounted them on some blue card and arranged as the sketch required.
I then mounted my image in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the right, to finish of Ive cut two leaf swirls with my Memory Box die, and stuck two lilies on top of them.

"Sundays with Santa" - Traditional Colours

Good Morning Everyone, Im so sorry for not posting for awhile but it was an extremely busy week last week, I had a blood pressure test on Wednesday and a Mamogram on Friday, plus all my DT work I never seem to have enough time just to create a card to post, instead I had a load to do for future Challenges instead so you will have to be a little patient. This card Im posting today was created for yesterdays Sundays with Santa Challenge "Tradition Colours" and Ive used this sweet image and coloured it with my copic pens then used the Nestabilitie Label die No.17 to cut it out then drew around the die to create the mount, the sentiment was one I had as a freebie in one of my craft magazine.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card and then Ive used one of the Maja "Vintage Winter" paper a lovely blue background with a Santa in the corner. I then used some white pearlescent card and three of the Memory Box dies to create a corner a border and a Xmas tree which have been placed in several places. The mounted image was then positioned in the middle with the setniment at the bottom on the right.

A Card for myself

Good Afternoon Everyone, oh well it started as a card for the Sugar Bowl Challenge and unfortunately I forgot to stick to the Sketch so I thought I might as well post it as a card just for myself. Ive used this sweet image from Sugar Nellie and coloured it with my copic pens, then used the Rectangle Die from Spellbinders and cut the mount from blue card, the sentiment is one from my stash.
The base card as always is a 6"x 6" white card with a paper from the Maya "In the Country" paper pack and across the middle is a green ribbon that Ive attached to the back of the first mount, behind this is a second paper from the same paper pack a green one that I have run through my cuttlebug with a Cherry Lynn Doily.
The mounted image was then positioned to the left and the sentiment at the bottom on the right, to finish of I have created a large bow thats had a brad and spacer and stuck on top of the green ribbon.
