Good Afternoon Crafters, and as its only hours away Happy New Year as well, I hope its a even better one for you than the last one. Ive been busy just lately making my DT cards and this was one that I had extra and I thought I would create a card with it.
Its the Aurora Wings "Bluebell Sprite" and I have a very dear friend who lost her hubby this year who absolutely adores them and will make special trips to woods to see them when they are in full bloom, for me I love the smell as well and this little image is so right to.
I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, Ive tried to get the blue/mauve colour as possible as Im not sure they are totally blue, and I have white ones and pink ones in my garden. I then cut her out with my Nestabilitie Die Lables No.8 and then a fancy one for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and I have mounted this onto a piece of blue card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card and the first mount is blue card and the papers are from Wild Roses "Bluebell" paper pad and the second paper is just a strip thats been punched down the edge and placed on the right and then on top I have place some die cuts from Wild Rose and Nestabilitie dies.
I then placed my mounted image towards the left and the sentiment was placed at the bottom on the right and the last flourish are the three dark blue gems in the left hand corner.

A Card for Sugar Nellies "Anything Goes" Challenge
Good Morning Crafters, I wasnt sue if these Oriental papers go with my image so I hope you will forgive me if you feel they dont but I couldnt find any purple ones among my stash papers so I have these Oriental ones from Papermania.
The image is one of the new Oriental Girls from Funky Kits here, and I have used one of the two they have to offer at the moment, I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour, afterwards I used my rotatrim to cut her out and purple die pad to distress the background. I then layered her up on some mauve card. The sentiment is one from my stash and this has also been mounted onto a piece of mauve card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount of mauve card and I have used two of the papers from the Papermania pad a white background with gold bamboo design on, the second is a red one with characters on it. Down the middle I have placed a piece of white card thats been run through the ebosser and a embossing folder.

A Card for the FabnFunky Challenge
Good Morning Crafters, I was send a email yesterday by one of our Team Members and she suggested you might like to see one of The Paper Shelters pre-coloured images and this is called "Santa Selfie" which as probably most of you have done is very much the in thing at the moment and of course Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter felt they should get in on the act to.
You will find the "Santa Selfie" here on their website and I printed it onto semi-glossy paper and cut it out and mounted it onto red card.
The sentiment is one from Papercraft Dies and was placed down the right hand side, and the snowflake is several punched out with a Martha Stewart Snowflake dies and layered up and placed in the top left hand corner with a large pearl stuck in the middle.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-
