A Card for Facebook

Good Morning Crafters this weeks theme over on Facebook is "Shades of Red" and I created this card mind you with a idea from Sue Wilson and it was quite tricky.
The base card is a 7.50"x 6.00" and its layered up with a white first layer which has been pierced and then the next layer is a embossed "Poinsettia" folder and laid on top
The Poinsettia striplet has been cut then layered up on a piece of white and then red card, the flowers you can see where created with a glitter glue which was layed in the petals of the diecut layer, I must admit I then cut another top layer and put it on top to cover up any smudges.
This was then placed down the left side, and I fold some pearl sprays and layed them as shown, And then diecut two poinsettias out of red card and moulded and layered up as shown, I then placed them on top of some white seam binding ribbon and thin red ribbon which were tied into a bow.

Another card for Facebooks Sunday with Santa "Shades of White" Challenge

Good Morning Crafters, this weeks Challenge over on Facebook is "Shades of White" and for my card I have used a Sue Wilson embossing Folder and also a Merry Christmas sentiment, plus several sizes of snowflake which were punched out with a Martha Steward punches.
The base card is a plain one with a edge of punched holes and on top of this I have layered a card that was run through the cut and boss machine with the holly embossing folder from Sue Wilson. Then on top I have layered the diecut Merry Christmas, and then punched out several sized snowflakes where dipped into German Glass Glitter and layered up and stuck in the two bottom corners. To finish of I have stuck 8 flat backed pearls in all four corners in pairs.

A Card for Facebooks "Sundays with Santa"

Good Morning Crafters, well its been a really busy week, I have been catching up with my Spring Cleaning and gradually getting to the end of it, just a few little jobs left to do, I was amazed this morning and how much dust collects on the lamp shades on the ceiling I used a brand new duster and it was filthy by the time I had finished.
Also I had two fabulous pieces of good news in the last week my second eldest grandson who is almost 22 got a 2-1 grade in Computer Sciences at Sheffield University and that might sound pretty good but when you consider he suffers with Asperger's and mild Autism I think its brilliant he never did find it easy to express himself or cope with English to well, Im so very proud of him, He also worked all through the Summer Holidays last year that he was able to afford his own flat, Well Done Thomas.
Then my younger Granddaughter had her Prom and she looked stunning, shes such a beauty and her dark red dress really looked beautiful, she has now left School and hopes when shes 18 to start Teacher Training but I think in the meantime she will probably think about getting a certification in child care to help her along the way.
But back to my card this was created with the new Sue Wilson Festive Dies, I have also used a embossing folder and layered it up with red card as well as the white. I hope you like the result.
