A Card created with the Tattered Lace Florentine Dies

Good Morning Crafters, I wondered if you might like to see what Ive created with the Florentine Dies from Tattered Lace, I actually decided to created it to a similar design I found in this months Magazine I hope you like its result.
I used some pearlescent card and ran half of it through my ebosser and one of my embossing folders and then the other half I cut the half circle that you can see with the Florentine over the edge die.
The inside is with some lime green pearlescent paper and on top of this is one of the border edge dies thats been cut down to fit the edge.
I also created the two front flourish with another of my dies but this has been cut in halve and then placed on the embossed card on the left, and a center one for the middle.

A card for the Aurora Wings "Butterflies" Challenge

Ive been itching to get down to colouring another Aurora Wings image and for the 3rd Challenge its all about Butterflies, so I thought this Asian image was just right for it, she is called "Chrysanthemum" and you will find her here, isnt she gorgeous and I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her.
I then cut her out with my Nestabilitie Die and used a fancy one for the mount. The sentiment is one that I found on the web and printed it onto white card and mounted this onto a spare piece of mauve card.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card and the first mount is mauve card and the paper I have used is from Crafters Companion "Oriental" Cd its a daisy type pattern then I used some of the same mauve card and with a large flower embossing folder I ran it through my ebosser. Then around the middle I have wrapped a piece of pink ribbon and attached it to the back of the first mount.
I have also used a doily and placed this in the top right hand corner, and before placing my mounted image I have used a Tattered Lace Chrysanthemum Die and cut this out and placed in the bottom left hand corner, I also placed my sentiment in the opposite corner.
To finish of I have also used another of the Tattered Lace dies and this is a Oriental Butterfly and placed in the top right hand corner over looking the mounted image.

Good Afternoon Fellow Crafters, well we are a right thunderstorm here in Gloucestershire and Im staying inside, just hope I dont have to turn my computer of as Im writing up this post, anyway Id better stop nattering and get on with it.
Janet of Pink Gem Designs and you will find them here, has been creating some really fabulous and useful pre-designed cards already for you to print and cut out and this is one of two new baby designs I have used this cute little girl one. I printed her onto white card then cut her out with a pair of scissors and a knife, then make it as the design is shown and to finish her of I have used one of the several sentiments that are offered and the final flourish is the pink bow on the right handside.

A new Pre-designed Card design from Pink Gem

Good Morning Crafters, well its another beautiful day and Ive just got a set of curtains in the wash, Im trying to get all of mine done before the weather breaks so its a busy time for me, but the smell of new curtains is making it all worth while.
Todays card has been created for a pre-designed card from Pink Gem Designs and all you have to do is print it out and then cut the second sheet with all its bits of decoupage to create a card, I have used this "Ho, Ho, Ho" image and you will find it here its certainly got a lot of tricky bits to cut out but I have used my knife to do it and its a lot easier than scissors.
I hope you like the result and please do go and visit Janets Website and see for yourself the other pre-designed cards she has on offer.

The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and the first mount is blue card and the papers are also from Pink Gem "Snowflakes" range of digi papers and you will find them here I have used three papers from this set and layered them up as shown, the red one I have used a snowflake border punch on it.

A Card for the Aurora Wings Mono Challenge

Good Morning Crafts well as I had this image already coloured before my problems started I decided I really ought to finish it of and make a card, and this months Challenges over on Facebook and on the Aurora Wings Challenge Blogspot are both to do with using Monotones and for this one especially I have used several shades of Blue.
This beautiful image is called "Woman with Gardenia and Pearls" and you will find her here. I printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic pens, afterwards I cut her out with my Nestabilitie Labels Die No.1 with a fancy one cut out of blue card.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first mount of blue card, the papers are from Sweetshoppes "Dare to be Different" digi paper set, and I have used three papers from this, the first a blue background with swirls on, the second a blue and white check and the third a dark blue with white spots on. I have also used a doily which was placed behind the two mounts.
I then placed my mounted image in the middle with a sentiment I stamped and mounted and this was put in the bottom right hand corner. And the final flourish are the pearls in the corners left.

A Card for the Pink Gem Inspirations Blog

Good Morning Crafters, I know Ive been a bit slack keeping up with No.2 blog and now I have even more excuse not to post as often as I should, this last couple of days has been rather traumatic. On Monday I discovered something wrong with my left eye, I thought originally that I had a migraine Aura and it turned out that it was when the jelly thats attached to your retina had become detached and was causing flashing lights on the left of my vision, it really was uncomfortable to try and concentrate on my colouring (which at the time I was doing) it caused huge floaters to cross my vision. Anyway I got a bit worried as it didnt go away after I took a Sumatriptan tablet and with a little bit of thought I thought my retina had become detached so with a phone call to the out of hours NHS line I rushed of to Gloucester (21 miles away) at 9pm and spent 5 hours waiting to see a eye specialist who didnt turn up and I had to return back to the hospital yesterday. In fact we didnt get to bed till 3am Tuesday morning and back at the hospital by 10.30 yesterday and again we were eventually seen by 12 midday yesterday to be re-assured that the retina hadnt detached but the jelly attached to it had and fortunately for me it had not torn the retina (which would have meant a operation) and I will have to learn to live with the giant floaters crossing my vision and adjust to them as they are not going away, its like having flies on your windscreen or spot before your eyes a real pain.
Anyway back to todays card this was created with the Pink Gems free digi image and I have coloured it with my copic pens and cut out with my Nestabilitie Die No.1 and mounted on a larger one of the same design.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first mount of brown card and the papers are from Papermania and i have used two papers from the set and around the middle I have stuck a owl ribbon and attached it to the back of the first mount. The sentiment was created on my computer and printed and then cut out as shown. Its a simple layout and I hope you like the result.
