Santa on Sunday Card

Good Afternoon Ladies, well another Sunday came and went yesterday, and this weeks challenge for Santa on Sunday was "Pink and Chocolate" and I used this sweet image of Henry from Whiff of Joy, and stamped him onto white card before colouring him with my copic pens, afterwards I used one of the square Nestabilitie Dies and then used a larger one for the mount. The sentiment is one of the LOV circle stamps and it was cut out and mounted in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink pearlescent card and one of a freebie Bo Bunny papers that I got in one of my magazines, the other papers are from the Papermania "Deck the Halls" paper pack, these also were mounted on pieces of the same coloured pink card.
Ive stuck my image in the middle and the sentiment at the bottom on the right handside, to finish of Ive popped two snowflake buttons at the top on the right, and a snowman on the left at the bottom.
If youd like to take part in our weekly challenge please do pop across to here and see what we get upto, theres no prize and its a way of getting some Christmas cards ready for when the season starts, its an idea of Pops and weve got quite a few girls taking part regularly and they seem all to have fun entering in challenges.

Good Afternoon Ladies, well this is the second challenge card Ive posted today, Ive just finished posting one on my Nannieflash Blog 1 and now this one. The card is for the Lovely hAnglar Challenge and this one is for the "Take Two" Challenge and Ive used these two images, I stamped the little girl then masked it before doing the little lad, afterwards I coloured them with my copic pens then cut it out with my rotatrim and mounted it onto blue pearlescent card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card and one of two papers from First Edition Animal Antics paper pad, and the first paper is a white base with butterflies and flowers on, the second one is another white paper with blue, orange and green flowers on. Across the card Ive wrapped a blue lace strip and a satin ribbon down the edge.
I then positioned my mounted image in the middle and the sentiment below, which is another of the H&S stamps, then stuck a Prima rose at the top on the left.

Prairie Fairy Challenge "Inspired by a Song"

Good Afternoon Ladies, last week I won Prairie Fairy Fridays Challenge and I was asked to create a card as a guest designer, and their theme for this Challenge is "Inspired by a Song" and Ive used this gorgeous image of a chap and his dog fishing from Roberta of Prairie Fairy and used it to illustrate Bing Crosby and Louis Armstrong's "Gone Fishing" duet, I know Im a bit sad but it was quite a favourite in our house at one time, anyway Ive printed it onto white card and coloured it with my copic pens, then used the large curved retangle die from Nestabilitie to cut it out, then drew around the edge to create the mount.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card and three papers from Donna's Bearlymine Designs "For the Men" papers the first one is a striped paper in several colours, the second is a large spot one, and the third a green small spot one, on top of this Ive stuck my mounted image and my sentiment which was created on the computer and then cut out with my rotatrim below on the left hand side.
I do hope you will pop over to Prairie Fairy's blogspot and see the fabulous creations from the rest of the girls.

How to create extra pages at the top of your Blog

Good Evening all, I decided that today I might share with you something I discovered how to do yesterday. As you can see at the top of my blog under my heading I have now got several extra pages and if youd like to know how to do it on your own blog I will guide you through the proceedure.

1. Go into your design page and under your heading click on "Add a Gadget" then scroll down the list till you come to a heading  "Pages" its about 3 boxes down, click on this and it will show you that you can now add a bar to add your extra pages to, this will only show as "Home" to start of with, and the next step will give you the extra pages you want. Click Save and then go and look at your blog to make sure its there.

Once this is done the next step is relatively easy, go to "Dashboard" click on "Edit Posts" and it will give you a list of all your posts, at the top of the bar you will see under the main tabs, "New Post", "Edit Post" and "Edit Pages" and this is the one you want to click on, this is the one thats going to create your pages.

2. Click on "New Page" and it will bring up what looks like a post page (which it is) and if you then put your "Heading in the Title Page" and click on save, it will give you the next tab after the "Home" page, you can then repeat this proceedure as and when you want to add extra pages to your tab bar. Hope you find this helpful you can add upto 10 pages along this bar.

I posted this on my No.1 Nannieflash blog today and thought as it had done extremely well on there that you might like to see it here on my No.2 blog. I have done it to tidy up my blog as I really dont like all the bits and bobs down the side of my blog and so I can at least tidy up my blog with these extra pages.

I was asked today how you treat these pages, and you treat them like you would a post, you add things in the normal way like you would a post. You click on your page tab, and at the bottom on the left is a pen sign click on this and it will take you to edit the page, then just write or add what you want to the post (page) and then click save, this is just one continuous page (post) and you just keep adding to it.

Another Sample for Sarah

As I anounced on my Number 1 blog, my dear friend Sarah Hallam has a brand new CD due out on the 8th March 10am and it will be showcased on Create and Craft then, you will not only be able to purchase it from them but also from her own website Peerless Designs, you really should pop across and see what stunning cds she has to offer, Ive been buying them for about five years and I can honestly say she does create the most beautiful papers you will ever find.
This  is the new Cd that is due out and its an extremely easy one to use, after speaking to Sarah she said she wanted to get back to basics and create a cd that was going to allow the new crafter an easier way of creating cards without to much trouble, and this one certainly does that, its just click, print, cut, decoupage and there you are, theres template cards, shaped cards, no stamp required, inserts, ribbons and tags, backing papers, and it covers all occassions. Its brightly coloured and a joy to use, anyway this is one of the samples that I made for her.
and here is the insert that goes with it
As I said they are so pretty, and this little mite is called Patsy and as all little girls like to do she is dancing, or trying. I do hope that enjoy looking at this card I know its different to what I normally do but you know what they say "A change is as good as a rest".

The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card and one of Donna's Bearlymine Designs papers from "Christmas Dreams" and this one is a gorgeous red paper with a pretty white design on it, across the middle Ive used a lace strip and a snowflake ribbon on top. A Card for the House Mouse & Friends Challenge

Good Evening Ladies, well you might say Im late again today and youd be right, though I did have a scheduled post on my other Nannieflash blog, and tomorrow weve got the start of a brand new Challenge Blog, so I thought Id better get on and post this card on my No.2 blog instead. This card has been created for House Mouse & Friends Challenge "Your Favourite House Mouse Image" as that is quite a hard thing to do I decided Id pick this one which is so cheeky. Not sure whats going to happen when that naughty mouse bursts that balloon though.
Ive stamped this image onto white card then coloured it with my copic pens, after which I cut it out with my Nestabilitie Die Labels Die No.8 and I then drew around the die to create the mount, the sentiment is another from the same set of stamps and used the Labels Die No.1 for cutting out. The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of yellow pearlscent card with one of two Kay Miller Downloads, and I then wrapped a ribbon that I received from my dear friend Mandy of Craftyfox and attached it to the back of the first mount. I then stuck the second mount on top, and the mounted image in the middle and the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side. To finish of Ive stuck a cake button at the top on the right, I also used glossy accents on the large balloon.

A Card for Crafters Companion Challenge - "Romance"

Good Afternoon Ladies, Ive already posted on my other blog Nannieflash, but thought I ought to post this card as well on this my second blog, I was lucky enough to win a top three position with my last Crafters Companion Card and was absolutely thrilled at that. A DT Card for "The Paper Shelter"

Good Afternoon Ladies, its a few days since I posted anything on this blog so I thought today I would post one of my DT cards for "The Paper Shelter" and Ive used this fun image of "Pepe L'Souris who has a cold," but you know what men a like theyve always got "Man Flu" or at least thats what my husband always says when he starts sneezing and sniffing.
Ive printed it onto white card before colouring it with my copic pens, then cut it out with a set of Nestabilitie Dies that were commissioned by Create and Craft this one is "E" and Ive used it to draw around the die to create the mount for it.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and Ive used three papers from Donna's "For the Boys" new digi papers set and I would urge you to pop across to her website click here and see the rest of her beautiful new papers and even get a 15% discount, this is the code NF10 you must quote this code when you email Donna for your order and it only lasts till the 7th February so its worth popping over there as soon as possible.
The papers I used are ideal for any male card and the ones Ive used are just right for this card, I created a card design for myself, and stamped a sentiment from my stash and the last thing is the stethoscope button that Ive stuck at the bottom on the right.
