My last card for 2013 - Sugar Bowl "Glittery Fairy Challenge"

Good Afternoon Crafters, well before I go any further I want to wish you all a Very Happy Christmas and to say that this will be my last card for 2013 as I want to take a break and perhaps recover some of my mojo which seems to be a little lacking in the last few weeks. And to be absolutely honest my hubby went to visit his daughters and grandchildren last weekend and came home with a rotten virus and I thought I had managed to avoid it but yesterday and today its hit really bad, my body aches and Im coughing like crazy so I just want to try and get rid of it before Christmas but I suspect knowing me it will hang around longer than I want.
Well todays card has been created using one of the cute Sugar Nellie Fairy stamps and I have printed it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, afterwards I cut it out using nestabilitie dies and the mount is a fancy one of the one used on the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and the first mount is a mauve card and the papers are from one of the Christmas Cds from Bearlymine Designs and I have used three of them to compliment the colouring of my image. I have also glittered the image on the wings and cuffs of the coat and her leggings.
To finish of I have used a diecut sentiment and a snowflake in the bottom left hand corner, in the center I have put a white pearl.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges

Good Morning Crafters, well you will be having a fit yes I have created yet another card for this No.2 Blog and this one is with a Sugar Nellie image and I love this sweet image, I have stamped her onto white card and coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used Nestabilitie die to cut it out and a fancy one for the mount out of lilac card. The sentiment is one from my stash and the mount is from the same set as the mount.
The main card is a 6"x 6" white one with a first mount of lilac card and the papers are Maya ones and this is such a pretty paper in blues and lilacs, and then around the middle I have placed lace and ribbon and attached it to the back of the first mount.
The mounted image was then placed towards the left and the sentiment down the right hand side over the ribbon. To finish of I have stuck three heart gems down the right hand side at the top.

A very Special Birthday Card

In January a very dear friend of mine reaches her 60th Birthday and although I had already created a card for her I thought I ought to try and make something special, as Im sure she wont want to be reminded exactly how old she is I didnt put the actual age on it.
The card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount of pink pearlescent paper, and the first mount is a piece of white pearlescent card that I have cut in half and with one piece I ran it through the embossing machine with a leaf embossing folder and the second piece I used the Chloe lattice stamp on it and then embossing it with a pink embossing powder.
I then placed both of these on top of the pink mount and wrapped a pink organza ribbon around the middle to cover the join. Then I used the flourish leaf stamp and stamped two images in the left bottom corner, then created flowers with a piece of the same pink pearlescent paper, this was done with the flower stamp and more of the same Pink Glitter Embossing Powder from Wow, they were then cut out and dampened with water and crushed afterwards I mounted them up in layers and placed them on top of the stamped flourish. In the center I used a pearl button.
To finish of I have used a beautiful birthday sentiment and mounted it onto yet a bit more of the same pink pearlescent paper and placed it on the right across the pink ribbon.

Another Card with one of the beautiful Aurora Wings Images

This beautiful image is called "Snow Queen" and I printed it onto white card before colouring it with my copic pens, afterwards I used the Memorybox dies to cut it out and the mount is a overlay of snowflakes.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first mount of blue card and the second layer is another piece of white pearlescent card thats been put through a snowflake embossing folder with blue ink on it, then I have cute four corners with the Memorybox Snowflake corner dies and placed them in the four corners of the first layer. Then on top I have placed my mounted image which has had German glitter on the headdress and around the image as well with other glitters..

Another card with Aurora Wings Images

Good Afternoon All, I know its a week since I posted a card but its been a real busy one for me, I had a Blog Hop to sort out for today for The Paper Shelter and you will find that on my No.1 blog if you feel like joining in with a chance to win a free digi from them. And not only this I visited my middle daughter Sarah and her family on Sunday thats over 200 miles away and Monday I spent 6 hours ironing and taking up curtains so I was really shattered yestered and then discovered that I needed to write up a Challenge Blog and my own and I had forgotten, I just hope it all works out well even with a couple of hiccups that were discovered after it went live.
Anyway todays card is with this gorgeous Auraro Wings "Poppies" image and I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used Nestabilities Labels Die No.8 to cut it out and the fancy one for the mount out of red card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card, the paper I have used is from Kaisercrafts "Remember Me" paper pad, and then on top I have used a gorgeous doily (which I have had for longer than 6 months) which I have edged with red inkpad, around the middle is the cobweb strip and red ribbon and stuck it to the back of the first mount and created a double bow which has been stuck on the left of my mounted image.
Ive not put a sentiment on it at the moment as I think I might need it for someones birthday in the future.
