Another card for Facebooks Sunday with Santa "Shades of White" Challenge

Good Morning Crafters, this weeks Challenge over on Facebook is "Shades of White" and for my card I have used a Sue Wilson embossing Folder and also a Merry Christmas sentiment, plus several sizes of snowflake which were punched out with a Martha Steward punches.
The base card is a plain one with a edge of punched holes and on top of this I have layered a card that was run through the cut and boss machine with the holly embossing folder from Sue Wilson. Then on top I have layered the diecut Merry Christmas, and then punched out several sized snowflakes where dipped into German Glass Glitter and layered up and stuck in the two bottom corners. To finish of I have stuck 8 flat backed pearls in all four corners in pairs.

A Card for the Creative Expressions "Easter" Challenges

Good Afternoon Crafters, well you will never guess I originally created this card for what I thought was the Creative Expressions Easter Challenge but when I went to add it, it seems that it was a old challenge and they hadnt updated their blog since it was run, anyway I was looking at Sue Wilsons blog this morning and decided to create this card using her card design as you can see I have used two shades of yellow for my card and layered it up slightly differently to her card design.
I have used the Monarch Butterfly and cut it out completely then layered into the diecut shapes two more butterflies in different shades of yellow, then placed a piece of double sided sticky backed paper and then layered it up with glitter.

A Card for Facebooks "Sundays with Santa"

Good Morning Crafters, well its been a really busy week, I have been catching up with my Spring Cleaning and gradually getting to the end of it, just a few little jobs left to do, I was amazed this morning and how much dust collects on the lamp shades on the ceiling I used a brand new duster and it was filthy by the time I had finished.
Also I had two fabulous pieces of good news in the last week my second eldest grandson who is almost 22 got a 2-1 grade in Computer Sciences at Sheffield University and that might sound pretty good but when you consider he suffers with Asperger's and mild Autism I think its brilliant he never did find it easy to express himself or cope with English to well, Im so very proud of him, He also worked all through the Summer Holidays last year that he was able to afford his own flat, Well Done Thomas.
Then my younger Granddaughter had her Prom and she looked stunning, shes such a beauty and her dark red dress really looked beautiful, she has now left School and hopes when shes 18 to start Teacher Training but I think in the meantime she will probably think about getting a certification in child care to help her along the way.
But back to my card this was created with the new Sue Wilson Festive Dies, I have also used a embossing folder and layered it up with red card as well as the white. I hope you like the result.

A ArtbyMiran Card for the Facebook Reserved Challenge

Good Afternoon Crafters, at the weekend I received my image for this months Reserved Challenge over on Facebook, and I printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic pens. I then used one of my Nestabilitie Labels die to cut her out and then created a faux die for the mount by drawing around the die to create the larger one. The sentiment was created in the same way.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount out of blue card the papers are from Maja Design and I have used three of them with blue being the made colour scheme, the first has roses on and the second is a tapestry pattern and the third a distressed look
The mounted image was then placed towards the left and the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner. The final flourish are the two paper carnation flowers from my stash in the top right hand corner.

Oh my Peony sprung a surprise on me

I had a huge surprise sprung on me yesterday, what I had thought was going to be another white peony (a new plant) turned out to be a soft pink, isnt it gorgeous, so with the white bush thats next door to it, you can just see one of the flowers below the pink one I now have a red, white and pink peony bushes in my garden, this is the first year is has actually bloomed so I had forgotten that I had bought it.
As you can see the pink one is on the left and three white blooms on the right, you can just see the remains of the red one at the back, its looking a little brown now.
My pinks have also done well, these are in a pot by my back door,
and the patio rose has now got four flowers out.
As you can see my Clematis have also done well, I have a number of different plants along this fence, and why do they always want to flower at the top with nothing at the bottom of the plant.
I hope you like them, I love all these gorgeous plants.

My 1st DT Card for the "Anything Goes" Craftyhazelnut's Paper Patterned Challenge

As I announced last week Ive been invited to join Hazels Design Team for Craftyhazelnut's Paper Patterned Challenge Blogspot and this is my first DT card and I hope that you will go and visit the Challenge Blogspot and see all the new DTs cards.
Hazel has been running the Challenge Blog for a year now and as it had become so popular she decided to appoint a Design Team to give you some inspiration and also to help with the commenting.
And here is the Card I created for the 1st Challenge

I have used a Sherri Baldy image which has a very un-inspiring number its Image 749, I printed it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it. The sentiment was one I created on my computer and then printed it and mounted it onto pink card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount of bright pink card and the papers I have used are Bearlymine Designs, and I have used two of the "Love Dreams" papers, although these are now not available to buy Im sure that a lot of you have them already in your stash as Donna only just closed her shop when the new VAT charges came into force.
As you can see I used the red heart paper for the first layer and the second I have used a pink paper and a heart border punch from Martha Stewart.
I then placed a pink heart doily behind my mounted image which was then stuck towards the left center and the sentiment at the bottom on the right. I created a floral spray with pink roses of several sizes and placed them in the top left hand corner with some punch out leaves behind them. And the final flourish is the two heart gems in the top right hand corner.
Now that youve have seen my Card I sincerely hope that you will pay a visit to the Craftyhazelnut's Paper Patterned Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Anything Goes" Challenge.
