Good Morning Crafters well today Im posting a Card I created for the facebook ArtbyMiran Challenge and as a regular entrant I am able to claim a free image each time I take part and this time we were given this young lady
I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I cut her own with my Nestabilitie retangle die and a fancy one for the mount.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount of blue card and the papers are from Pink and Blue papers from ArtbyMiran and I have used four of the papers and layered them up as shown in the photo, I have used a Martha Stewart border punch on three of them papers and laid them down the card and on top I have used a ribbon around and attached it to the back of the first mount.
I then placed my mounted image towards the left and the sentiment is also from the same paper set and mounted it on a piece of left over blue card. To finish of I created a bow and stuck it in the top right hand corner.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-

A Card for the ArtbyMiran Facebook Challenge
Good Morning Crafters I know I dont post many posts these days I do find that I seem to have lots to do running my other blog but as I had already made this card for this months progressive Challenge over on Facebook I thought I would treat you to seeing it as well.
This image is the one they give you free if you have taken part in last months progressive Challenge and I printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic pens. I then cut her out using the Justrite dies and used the larger one for the mount out of pink card. I always ink around the edges before removing the die to give it more body or it looks rather lost if you leave it all white. The sentiment was stamped and for this one I used for the smaller die a Sue Wilson Noble die and for the mount the circle die from Justrite.
I do love Justrite stamps and Dies also Sue Wilsons dies and stamps Im a bit of a horder of both so dont be surprised it you dont get to see me use them more.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first mount out of pink card the papers I used this time are also from ArtbyMiran and these are called "Happy Days" I printed three papers, the first is a pink background with hearts on, the second is a blue one and this one I have used border and corner dies from Martha stewart, the third is pink background with white spots and this was cut into a strip and mounted on a piece of pink card, then layered up as shown in the photo. I also used a heart doily which I tucked behind the mounted image.
I then placed my mounted image in the center with the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner. I have a confession to make I accidently bent the side of the heart doily when I turned it over to stick to the black base card and to try and anchor it down I used a bit of glue, unfortunately it looked so dark against the white I had to cover it up and I used a pink and blue organza ribbon to create the two bows and then placed a bow around the knot with the glitter drops from Tonic, I also used them in three of the corners. At least it covered up the black gluey mark.

A Card for ArtbyMiran Facebook Challenge
I promised last night to write up a post describing what I have done with this image and card design. The image is from ArtbyMiran, and the papers are to. If you take part in the Reserved Challenge every month you are given a free image for the following month once the present challenge is finished but you must take part in it to win it.
I printed this image onto white card and coloured it with not only copic pens but also my Tonic Nuvo pens (Id taken the image to craft club and as I have far to many copics to take I used the Tonic ones instead) they have not got the about of shades as the copics to but theyve made a decent job of it. I then cut it out with my Nestabilitie die and used a fancy one for the mount, Ive also done the same with the sentiment. (I should have said I glittered the wings and the butterfly)
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first mount out of blue card, the papers are also from ArtbyMiran and this set are the Oriental ones, I have used three of the papers and layered them up as show, the second and third ones I have used the butterfly border and corner punches on them.
I then placed my mounted image in the center and the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.

A Card for ArtbyMiran Facebook Challenge
Good Morning Crafters, its been awhile since I blogged again here on my No.2 blog but there has been a reason for them firstly my friend and neighbour died from Lung Cancer on the 11th, and it really hit me hard. Then her children started to clear her house out and this is because she was on Social Security who paid her rent and they wanted to clear it before they needed to pay any rent on it.
Then to crown it all while walking towards the backgate I tripped on a cover on the drain and because I was holding a bag of toilet rolls I not only didnt see the cover I could not do anything about helping myself I fell and hit my head on a brick wall, and of course it wasnt a good thing to do, I slit my right ear which is still sore and I have bruises in my head and face plus those on my body, (knees and legs). I did get a paramedic to come and check me over and luckily it wasnt needed to take me to hospital but I have found my balance is a bit of at times and Im not sure why this is happening though it didnt start for two days afterwards.
Anyway this card is created with the reserved image from ArtbyMiran these are free if you have created a card with the last image if not you pay a nominal amount less that the usual as you dont know what it looks like until you unzip it. This image is "Sweet Sally" and I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a Nestabilitie Die to cut her and a fancy one for the mount.
The papers are also from ArtbyMiran and this set is "Happy Days" I have used 5 of the papers and layered them up as you can see in the photo. The sentiment was stamped and treated in the same way as the image.

A card using a ArtbyMiran image
Good Morning Crafters, its a week since I posted a card here, and this was one I made last week using a image that I coloured before having my cataract operation, as Im having to limit my card creating at the moment, I will so glad to get back to normal in a couple of weeks its so limiting.
Anyway this image is titled "A Gift of Love! and Ive coloured her with my copic pens before cutting her out with a Spellbinders Nestabilite set of dies, and I used a fancy one for the mount.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of red card the papers are also from ArtbyMiran called "Love" and I have used four of them for the layers on this card and theyve been cut with a Martha Stewart corner and border set of Heart design.
I then cut out the heart border from Marianne dies and the large die was also cut with a Marianne die. The card was then layered up as shown and to finish of I have used a sentiment from the same image set and tied a triple bow and stuck this about it.
To finish of I have used some heart gems in three of the corners.

A Card for the ArtbyMiran Facebook Challenge
Good Afternoon Crafters, I know Im extremely lax as posting cards here on my No.2 blog this is because its been rather busy over on my No.1 blog, weve have a blog hop and a about 3 other challenges to write up and schedule, plus which I have been trying to get ahead for a couple of months of DT work due to the fact Im due to have a cataract removed on the 29th of the Month and Im not sure how much Im going to be able to achieve while Im waiting for my new glasses so I do hope you understand my delay in posting a card.
This card was created for the ArtbyMiran Facebook page and this is one of her gorgeous Autumn images and I have printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic pens, afterwards I cut her out with a rectangle Nestabilitie daie and used a fancy one for the mount out of green card, the sentiment was created in the same way and the die is also from the same die set as the mount for the image.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of green card and the papers are also from ArtbyMiran this is the Christmas paper set, and I have used three of the papers, the first is a green one and on top I have used two of the papers and a holly border punch down the edges. I then wrapped a red holly ribbon around the card and attached it to the back of the first mount.
I placed my mounted image towards the left with the sentiment at the bottom on the right, to finish of I have used a piece of red ribbon tied in a bow on top of some punched out holly leaves and some holly berries which were then placed in the top right hand corner.

Another card for ArtbyMiran Facebook Challenge
This months Facebook Challenge for ArtbyMiran is a "Anything Goes" one but with a twist is has to be on a shaped card, so I took a large sheet of white card and cut out the shape you can see with a Go Kreate Die.
The image was printed onto white card and I then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a smaller shaped die for her and drew around the die to create the mount out of green card.
The base card is about 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of green card and the papers are also from ArtbyMiran which was a freebie on Facebook, I have used two papers the first an all over leaf one in various Autumn colours and the second which is difficult to see is another from the set cut in a strip and I used a Martha Stewart Leaf border punch down two sides and placed in on top down the middle of the card.
I then wrapped a ribbon which I removed from a very old card and laid it down the left hand side and the mounted image in the middle. The sentiment was one I found on the internet and then placed this also on a piece of green card it was then stuck in the bottom left hand corner on top of some punched out leaves.
