So Sorry for being so Lapse

Good Morning All, Im so sorry Ive not been posting any cards these last few days, its a bit hectic in our house at the moment, as Missy needs to be monitered when shes awake as we are trying to get her puppy trained, and although shes pretty good she still lapses and will run around like a mad thing ouside then come in and do a wee on the lino by the back door which isnt quite what we had in mind, not that it isnt easy to clean up but I would much prefer if she did it in the garden.
And to crown it all at 5.30 this morning she started to squeek and hubby got up to go down to let her out, and he promptly took a flying leap over the barrier we have to stop her getting through the stair gate, he forgot it was there and hes scrapped his legs, hurt his arm and bruised his side, and of course he made one holy row, so heaven knows what my neighbours must be thinking, (we live in a terraced house), anyway I had to laugh as he was sprawled out on the kitchen floor feeling very sorry for himself, hes now plastered up to the knee as it did start to bleed everywhere. Even then we dont know if Missy did do a wee outside as by this time all hubby wanted to do was creep into bed and die. Anyway we put her back in her bed and told her off for squeeking again and she finally settled down till 6.15pm when I got up and let her out and fed her breakie.
I dont know about your experience with puppy food but she turns her nose up at Pedigree puppy food in sachets, she looks, sniffs and turns away even if you pop it in the microwave for 10 seconds, she then resorts to eating Bakers Dried Puppy food instead. It looks as if we are going to have to experiment with some of the other foods as well as supplement her with fresh chicken which Ive cooked myself. Any suggestions? will be gratefully received.

A Card for Sunday's with Santa - "Red, White and Blue" Challenge

Good Morning Everyone, well I did eventually manage to get a card one yesterday, once hubby got home and was able to take over Missy Duty, to be honest she had me up at 2am this morning, I went to the loo and disturbed her so guess what she thought it was time to play, so I had to take her out for a wee in case it was that, then bring her back in and straight back into her bed, turned the light of and she did squeek a bit but I told her off and eventually she settled down again and we didnt hear again from her till 6.20am this morning when she was desparate to go out, hubby came down and he said she rushed around like a looney then did her toilet, so even though it was a bit early for us she did manage to hold on till then.
Well thats enough of that, todays card has been created for this weeks Sundays with Santa Challenges this one this week is the theme of "Red, White and Blue" because one of the girls said it was forces weekend I think thats probably America but it doesnt matter its a theme and thats all the best. Ive used this sweet image I think shes probably a CC image (it turns out its a Sugar Nellie Image) but carnt be completely sure as it one that has been given to me, anyway I coloured her with my copic pens then used some thick white glue for the fluffy stuffs on her coat, hat, sleeves and boots, afterwhich I used my rotatrim to cut her out.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card with one of three papers from Donna's Bearlymine Designs, "Christmas Wishes" this first paper is a red background with a light squiggle pattern in the background then on top Ive used a strip of blue and white snowflake paper and then with a snowflake punch from Martha Stewart punched it along both sides, I then put my third mount on top this is the same pattern as the blue but in a red and white theme.
After I mounted these all up I have used a sentiment ribbon along the bottom to save me using a actual one, and to finish of I have stuck two snowflakes at the top on the left hand side.

Well its Official Missy it is

Well its official Missy it is, we couldnt decide on a name for her and Ive been calling her Missy since we bought her home on Wednesday, but so many of my followers have taken to the name that weve finally decided that Missy it will be and Minnie the Mooch as her Kennel Name, shes got quite a pedigree on her but hasnt been registered, and as we wont be breeding from her it doesnt seem necessary to do so.
Its funny both hubby and I have had a number of Yorkies in the past, actually to many to count and its been quite difficult to think of a name for her without bringing the others into it, so this is at last what weve decided to call her hope you like it.
Shes settled in extremely well, and so far all her toilet needs have been done outside, shes a real nutter at times running around into everything, thats where the mooch comes from. Shes also been good at night, we put her in her cage in her basket and so far shes not made a sound once shes in there. She sleeps from 11pm to 6am when I come down to let her out and so far shes not had any accidents in the cage, not sure how shes able to hold herself for so long, I know Im up and down during the night shes certainly got a better bladder than I have.

Look who's just moved into our house

We have a new baby, shes a 11 week old Yorkie, no name yet as we carnt agree on one, Ive no doubt one will come to mind, at the moment shes a little timid as she was with her mum and dad and 3 other dogs so is a little unsure whats going on.
Well shes settling in and is now playing, has been outside and done her toilet and even asked to go out to explore so Im hoping she wont be to difficult to train, keep your fingers crossed.

A Card for the Teddy Bo Challenge "Bling it On"

Good Morning Everyone, well Im keeping my fingers crossed as it seems a bit warmer this morning and the sun is sort of out but a bit watery, anyway todays card has been created for the Teddy Bo Challenge, dont you just love these little characters as you probably know I love Teddy Bears and Im a great collector of them mainly the named ones as well as the one off type, but I have a cupboard on my landing full of them plus all over the house. Anyway Ive used Teddy Bea in her tutu and I felt it would make a lovely card for one of our granddaughters seeing as both are quite young. Ive printed her onto white card then coloured her with my copics and tria pens after which I cut her out with Nestabilitie Die No. 16 and then cut out another out of pink pearlescent to use as a mount. The sentiment is one I created on my computer and have printed it onto another piece of white card then cut it out with my rotatrim and mounted it on a spare piece of the same pink card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card with one of three papers from the "Fairy Princess" digi papers from Nitwits downloads, the first is a very pretty patchwork of pictures then on top is a strip of a heart paper thats had both sides punched with my cherish Martha Stewart border punch, the last mount is a plaid pattern thats been mounted at the bottom along the edge.
The mounted image was then positioned in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish of Ive used some of the left over paper and my daisy punches to create a layered flower which has had a pearl brad and spacer pushed through the centre and a charm was then hung from the back. This was then stuck to the card with some silicone glue.

A Card for Sunday's with Santa - "Anthing Goes"

Good Morning Everyone, hope youve remembered its "Fathers Day" hubby has been going around grinning like a cheshire card with the cards hes received, though a few of our daughters have forgotten, oh well it always happens. Anyway this card today has been created for this weeks challenge over on Facebook Sundays with Santa and this week is a lovely one "Anything Goes" and I thought I would combine it with a few others I can find. This is a lovely image from Penny Black and Ive stamped him onto white card then coloured him with my copics and tria pens before cutting him out with my Nestabilitie No.17 and used the die again to create the mount by penciling around the edge and cutting it out by hand. The sentiment is one of the LOV stamps and this has been cut out with a circle die.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of dark blue card, and one of two papers from one of the Papermania "Deck the Halls" the first one is a white/beige background with a glittered snowman and on top I have put a strip of blue embossed spot one. The mounted image was stuck towards the right and the sentiment at the bottom on the left. To finish of I have mounted a poinsetta inthe top left hand corner on top of some fern leaves.

A Card for Sunday's with Santa - "Angels"

Good Morning Everyone, though its not so nice here in Gloucestershire, its raining and quite cold, oh well never mind at least I can use it as a excuse for staying indoors. Ive been rather busy this week creating some samples for my dear friend Sarah Hallam of Peerless Designs she has a brand new Cd due out on the 21st June called "Cuddle Upz 2 The Funny Farm" it will be previewed on Create and Craft at 10am on that day.  These are basically cards that overlap in the front and the images appear to cuddle up to one another, I had the job of creating cards with the toppers and backing papers, tags and borders, inserts etc and I have just finished them hubby has packed them up ready to post.
Anyway I thought as Id been rather naughty not posting anything on this blog this week that I would show you my card for this weeks Challenge on Sundays with Santa on Facebook, this is a Challenge that Pops started at the begining of the year and we are already onto our 23rd one and this week its Angels. Ive used this gorgeous image from Mo, and have coloured it with my copic pens then cut it out with the Nestabilitie Die No.1 and then draw around it to create the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and I believe its one of the LOV cicle ones, this one has also been mounted with a red base.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card and one of Donna's of Bearlymine Designs Christmas digi papers a all over sentiment pattern in red and white, I then wrapped a wide ribbon around the card and attached it to the back of the first mount. The mounted image was then stuck in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom on the right. The final thing is the little snowman button in the bottom left hand corner.

A Card for Many Magnolia Challenges

Good Evening All yes I did eventually get around to creating a card, and this one is for several Magnolia Challenges, Ive used this sweet image of Tilda with her basket of roses, Ive stamped her onto white card then used my copic and tria pens to colour her afterwards I cut her out with the Nestabilitie Die No.17 to cut her out then used the metal die to draw around then cut it out with the scissors, the sentiment is one from my stash thats had the same treatment.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with my first mount of pink pearlescent card and one of three papers from the new "Love Letters" from First Edition paper pack, this first paper is a white background with a pink flower pattern on, the second mount is a dark pink paper thats had the Doo Hickey lace border punch used on both edges this was then positioned down the card and my third mount has another of flower patterned paper on it. Ive then wrapped a velvet ribbon lace strip around the middle and attached to the back of the first mount.
I then cut a large Cherry Lynn heart out and positioned it at angle with my mounted image stuck on top with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side. To finish of I created a flower spray in the top right hand corner with two different sized roses and two pearl sprays, these were stuck on the card with some silicone glue on top of some punched out fern leaves. The last little thing was the pearls stuck in the two opposite corners.
This card will be entered in the following Challenges:-

"Sundays with Santa"

Good Morning Everyone, well I dont know about you but I spent 3 hours last night scheduleing cards for the next four days because if I dont something is likely to come up and Im bound to forget to do them, I know weve got to do our monthly shop on Tuesday so I thought I might as well get on and do it. Anyway even this card was scheduled Saturday night for this morning as Im sure to get behind if I dont, so here goes.
This weeks Sundays with Santa is for "Flat Flowers" and Ive chosen this sweet image of Willow as an Angel for my card, and Ive coloured her with my copic and tria pens, then used the large oval to cut her out, as shes rather long than the die I had to use the out of the die to get it done completely, Ive also used the scalloped one for the mount.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and Ive created a pocket for the tag at the top, as I want to enter this card in a couple of other Challenges and one of them asks for a pocket for a gift, and this token at the top is a promise to take a granddaughter to the Zoo. Anyway Ive used red card for my first mount and just one paper a very pretty white background with a red tree scene at the bottom, Ive also used it for the inside of the pocket.
I then positioned my mounted image in the middle and popped the tag in the pocket which has a ribbon at the top and to finish of I have put two different sizes of Poinsetta flowers at the top on the left and one on top of the staple I used on the tag.

A Card for LOV Challenge - "Punch It Up"

Good Evening Everyone, if youve been to my No.1 blog you will know that for the next few days I have the house to myself as hubby has gone to visit his daughters, granddaughters and stepson, so Im going to try and catch up with my craft jobs, have to schedule three challenge posts for next week and I didnt think I could get them done if I went away. Anyway tonights card has been created for this weeks Lili of the Valleys "Punch it up" Challenge, and Ive used these sweet two sipping tea together, Ive also used a sentiment from LOV as well. I stamped the image onto white card then used my copics and tria pens to colour it, after which I used the Nestabilitie Die No.15 to cut it out and then drew around the die to create the mount for it, Ive done the same for the sentiment to.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of dark pink pearlescent card with one of two papers from the Tatty Teddy papers from Do Crafts, the first paper is a cream background with butterflies and flowers on, then on top Ive used a pink paper with white spots on, and Ive used an all around lace punch set by Martha Stewart, then positioned it in the middle of the first paper. I then wrapped a piece of cream lace and a dark pink satin ribbon around the middle and stuck it to the back fo the first mount.
I then positioned my mounted image towards the right hand side with the sentiment underneath, I used another piece of the same dark pink card to punch out a leaf swirl from Marianne dies, and then used two more piece of paper from the same Tatty Teddy set to create the flower in the top left hand corner, to finish of I popped a pearl brad through the middle and stuck it down with some silicone glue.
