Good Evening Crafters well the sun is out but the sky is rather dark in places so I suspect its going to turn to rain, it just doesnt seem to want to last. Well this weeks theme over on Sundays with Santa Challenge over on Facebook is "Shades of Blue" though someone originally thought it might be "Shades of Grey" I wonder if shes hoping? Oh well I decided to use the new Tonic 4 day deal over on Create and Craft, though they are beautiful dies I must admit the punches arnt exactly as good as I expected, the one I have used on this pearlescent card jammed up when I tried to use it around the edge of the card, so I had to accept it didnt like it and then just use it on the corners.
I have used white pearlescent for the base card then used the Tonic dies for the top layer, Ive used two different ones and have placed a piece of pale blue card behind the smaller cut out, though its not to easy to see.
I also cut out the sentiment with the Cheery Lynn dies and placed them across the middle of the card, and to finish of I have used three blue poinsetta's and two fancy white flowers, I then placed them in the bottom left hand corner sticking them to the card with silicone glue on top of some punches out holly leaves.

A Card for my future Granddaugher in law
Three weeks Saturday my eldest grandson Andy will marry a beautiful young girl Laura and they will start their lives together, and I wanted to let Laura know how much she will mean to us by joining our family. Andy is one beautiful person and so is Laura and I know they will be very happy together or at least I sincerely hope they will. Laura is a fully qualified nurse and works very hard though I know they are hoping to start a family fairly quickly so I wouldnt be to surprised to hear that Im to be a great grandma in the near future. Anyway we have to send them some money as a gift and I couldnt think of anything nicer than to make her a card wishing her all the best for the 18th August, and here is the image I decided to use, its Tilda with her bridesmaid.
Ive stamped her onto white card then used my copics to colour her, and then used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.18 to cut her out, then drew around the die to create the mount which I have pleated lace all around the edge of. The sentiment is yet another of the Magnolia stamps which I thought was appropriate for the card, this has also been mounted onto pink card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card, the papers I have used are Kaisercrafts "Chanteuse" Collection a very pretty set of papers, the first is a white background with flowers and leaves on, and for the second I cut a 5" square and used one of my Martha Stewart border and corner punches on it, then placed it on top of the bottom layer. I then cut a heart doily
with one of the pink papers with a Cheery Lynn Die, and then wrapped a pink organza ribbon around the middle.
The mounted image was then positioned towards the right with the sentiment at the bottom on left.
And to finish of I created a flower spray with roses, carnations and pearls in the top left hand corner.

Ive stamped her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, then used a Cheery Lynn Oval die to cut her out, and for my mount I have used the Swedish Flower Oval die for the mount. The sentiment is one of the Magnolia ones as well.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pale lilac card, and Ive used just one paper is from Prima's Meadow Lark paper pad, a very pretty flower background on a pink and lilac paper, then on top I have used a heart doily and have distressed it with one of my Pan Pastels then positioned my mounted image towards the right, with the sentiment at the bottom on the left.

A Card for Sundays with Santa on Facebook - "Travel"
Good Morning All, has anyone noticed just how quickly the weeks are going by, here we are at another one, and at least today the sun is trying to come out, lets hope it does as I would like the weather to improve a lot before we take of for Cornwall in a couple of weeks, as its so miserable when it gets misty down there you miss so much of the scenery. Anyway back to todays card, this is for this weeks Challenge over on Sundays with Santa, its a weekly challenge that we set ourselves to create cards for Christmas, there isnt any money or prize involved it just gives us the chance to build up a reserve before December. Anyway this weeks theme is "Travel" and Ive used this Paper Shelter one of a young lass on her sledge delivering her Christmas Parcels. Ive printed her onto white card then used my copics to colour her, afterwards I used the new Die-namics Rectangle dies to cut her out, then used a larger one and some red card for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash, Im sorry I dont know hows it is as I usually take the backing paper of, silly really but my poor drawers are stacked to bursting and if I kept all the paper it just wouldnt shut.
Anyway the main card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card, and the papers I have used are from Donna's Bearlymine Christmas ones, the first is a red background with holly and sentiments on, the second is a blue background with similar design, I used one of my Cheery Lynn doily dies for this and placed in towards the left of the base layer.
I then positioned my mounted image on the right and the sentiment below it, to finish of I have used another of the Cheery Lynn dies to cut a holly swirl and stuck to the left of the image and a poinsetta was then stuck to the card at the top with some punched out holly leaves.

A Card for Sugary Sundays on Facebook
Good Afternoon Crafters, well I dont know about you but for the last few days weve had fog most of the day, I suppose it might be that we are surrounded with water from the Severn and the Wye, but its getting to be a real pest. Anyway todays card has been created for this weeks Challenge over on Sugary Sundays "Anything Goes" and Ive used this sweet image from Funky Kits and stamped it onto white card before colouring it with my copics and tria pens, afterwards I used the large rectangle die to cut it out, and cut a mount out of dark purple card. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been treated in the same way as the image.
The base card is 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of the same dark purple card and three papers from the First Edition "Dreamcatcher" paper pad, a very pretty purple background with pink flowers and butterflies on, the second and third mounts are of fern leaves and have been mounted at angles to each other, then I have wrapped a satin and organza ribbon around the card and tied a bow and stuck it to the right of the card.
The mounted image was then positioned towards the left with the sentiment below the ribbon on the right. To finish of I have cut a doily out of tissue paper and folded it in half and on top I have stuck punched out fern leaves and five lilies in shades of pink and lilac.

The card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card and Ive used three papers from the Echo Park "Victorian Garden" papers, the first one is a pink background with two white damask corners, on top is a strip with a red rose on a pink background and the third is a green leaf one and Ive used on of the Cheery Lynn doily dies. On top I have then positioned my mounted image with the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.

A Card for the Sugary Nellie Sunday Challenge
Good Morning Ladies, well its quite mild outside today so hubby and I have been trimming our lilac trees, mainly because the local council in their wisdom have decided to start charging us to remove garden refuse from the 2nd April, and I really wanted to get the trees sorted before they really start growing again, its easier to see the stems that way. And I have a feeling they are cutting their own throats by starting to charge us, as we live in a beautiful part of the country, more people are going to fly tip their rubbish around the Forest which is going to look lovely I dont think, who wants to pay more for taking this garden stuff away, weve got a very small garden so carnt have a composter as its just not big enough plus which its on the slope so where do we put it to keep it level. Oh well perhaps they will change their minds again before long. They actually made money from it as it was sent to be made in to compost for gardens anyway so why are we being charged I wonder?
Now back to my card sorry about spouting of, this card has been made for a new Sunday Challenge over on Facebook by Sugar Nellie, I was lucky to win last week and received a stamp of my own choice which was fabulous. Anyway I have used on of the new images and as the challenge was a colour one
and quite a difficult choice to use so I hope they are happy with the way I used them, I coloured it with my copic pens, then used the large rectangle die to cut it out, and again used a larger one for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been treated in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of beige card and one of four papers from the Sweet Shope Digi Downloads, this set are called "Count your Blessings" and Ive created several layers even used one of the Cheery Lynn dies on one of them, then positioned the mounted image at a jaunty angle and the sentiment to the right of my image.
To finish of Ive used one of the Cheery Lynn leave dies, and a Die-namics Gardenier rolled flower die to create my floral spray in the top right hand corner.

A Card for Several Challenges
Good Afternoon Everyone, well the sun is out but its still very cold her in Gloucestershire, we took Missy for a walk this afternoon and let her of the lead to run around, she loved it, shes never been allowed of the lead before and as we both went out with her I thought if she was naughty at least between us we could probably catch her. Its always a worry when you first let them of to run around but so far things are looking good, though how she will behave when she meets other dogs Im not sure but we shall see.
Anyway todays card has been mainly created for all the "Love" Challenges that are on offer at the moment and Ive also created it for the Joanna Sheens one as well, I used this sweet image of these House Mice and coloured them with my copics and tria pens, then used Nestabilitie Die No.9 to cut her out then drawn around the die to create the mount. The sentiment is yet another of the same stamps from the House Mouse set.
Ive used a 6"x 6" white card for my base and a first mount of red card, and two of the papers from the Bo Bunnys "Crush" Collection and I used the second paper with a Cheery Lynn Heart die to cut them out, and layered them up on top of the first paper. Across the middle I have wrapped a piece of lace and a red ribbon and attached them to the back of the first mount. The mounted image was then positioned in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom on the right. The last flourish is the two heart gems at the top on the right hand side.

A Card for the Sugar Nellie Challenge on Facebook
Good Afternoon Everyone, Im not sure how many of you are aware that Sugar Nellie have a Weekly Challenge on Facebook, they are set on Sunday and then you have the week to make up your card, and this week its a colour challenge, where you are given a list of colours to use on your card, this weeks one is with the following ones:-
And I have used this sweet image of Pippi Longstocking with her frog for my card, Ive coloured her with copic and tria pens, then used the Nestabilitie Die No.8 to cut her out then draw around the die to create the mount.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of peach card, the papers I have used are from the Sweet Shoppe Digi Downloads and this one is by Cato Cardall and its called "Friends by Choice" and dont you think thats ironic with this particular image, I know I wouldnt choose a frog for my companion, though I do have a toad that lives in my garden during the summer and makes me jump whether I accidently disturb him.
The flowers were created from some of the papers in greens and pieces and rolled into flowers, they are by Die-namics, and the punched out leaves are by Martha Stewart. Ive also used one of the Cheery Lynn Doilie dies for the two layers behind the image.

A Card for myself
Good Afternoon Everyone, oh well it started as a card for the Sugar Bowl Challenge and unfortunately I forgot to stick to the Sketch so I thought I might as well post it as a card just for myself. Ive used this sweet image from Sugar Nellie and coloured it with my copic pens, then used the Rectangle Die from Spellbinders and cut the mount from blue card, the sentiment is one from my stash.
The base card as always is a 6"x 6" white card with a paper from the Maya "In the Country" paper pack and across the middle is a green ribbon that Ive attached to the back of the first mount, behind this is a second paper from the same paper pack a green one that I have run through my cuttlebug with a Cherry Lynn Doily.
The mounted image was then positioned to the left and the sentiment at the bottom on the right, to finish of I have created a large bow thats had a brad and spacer and stuck on top of the green ribbon.

Card for the Joanna Sheen "Christmas Wishes" Challenge
Good Afternoon Everyone, Im so sorry for it being so long since I posted a card here its because I have been so busy getting a blog hop organised and launched, by the way it started today over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot I do hope that you will pop across to my other Blog to see what Ive been upto.
Anyway back today card it has been created for the new Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog, and Ive been an avid collector of all Joanna Sheen things and thought I ought to make the effort to take part, so for a change I have used the House Mouse Christmas Decoupage for my card (by the way its only £4.50 over on the JS website) and have mounted the image onto some bright red card I got from Hunkydory.
The base card is a 8"x 8" card for a change and Ive used the papers from the Thomas Kinkade Christmas CD for the backing papers on this card, its a red one with lots of snowmen on it. On top is a 5" square of white pearlescent card that I put through my Grand Calibur with a mica mask and unfortunately as the card was so thick its not showing to well.
Anyway I layered up these tow then wrapped a Xmas ribbon around the centre and attached it to the back of the first mount of red card by the way, then around the edges I have used several Memory Box and Cherry Lynn die cuts and positioned my main image in the centre.
I then created a sentiment on my computer, I hope you like its pun, and created a flower spray in the top left hand corner using three poinsettas, holly berries, and two fir cones, these were all attached to the card with some silicone glue on top of some punched out holly leaves,

A Card for the LOV Challenge "A Card for Someone Special"
Im not sure if the cards not straight or Ive not put the topper on straight, anyway hope you still like the end result, it might just be my camera angle, lets hope its that. Anyway todays card has been created for the Lili of the Valleys "A Card for Someone Special" and Ive still got a few to make for family members so I think this card will fall into that catagory, Ive used this sweet little people singing with the dog howling, and coloured it with my copic and tria pens, then cut it out with my rotatrim, the mount has been cut out with the Fleur de Lis Rectangle from Spellbinders, Ive then mounted them up, the Sentiment is one that I got free from Polka Doodles and felt it was a lovely one to go with the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card and one of the Memory Box "Mistletoe" paper set, a very pretty white/cream background with holly leaves and berries on, Ive only used the one paper and on top I have laid two stripes of die cut that I created with the Cherry Lynn Holly Lace die, and then mounted my image to the right and the sentiment at the bottom on the left. To finish of Ive stuck some pearls in random places to look like holly berries.

Card for Lili of the Valley Challenge - "Missing You"
Good Morning Everyone, well I hope that you are all looking forward to the weekend, today is my 11th Wedding Anniversary and of course the 9/11 anniversary as well so Im sure a lot of you are not particularly having a happy one so I send you my love and thoughts. Well the day started reasonably well until our pup managed to find the card hubby had put on my bed and guess what she did a good job of ripping it up so it looks a bit battered to say the least, but never mind you could say shes adding her signature like a child would when asked to add theirs.
Todays card has been created for this weeks Lili of the Valleys "Missing You" Challenge, and Ive used this sweet image and coloured it with my copic and tria pens then used the large Rectangle Nestabilitie Die to cut it out, I then cut a mount for it with the scalloped edged one and the sentiment has been treated in the same way.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card with one of three papers from the "Echo Park" Country Drive papers, the first one is blue design with yellow flowers on, and the second and third have been cut in strips and Ive used two different Martha Stewart border punches on them, Ive even used it on the blue card strip as well. I then wrapped a piece of white satin ribbon and then on top a sparkly blue ribbon and attached it to the back of the first mount.
I then used the heart Cherry Lynn doily and cut it out of blue card then popped it just behind the ribbons, on top of this I then mounted my image with the sentiment at the bottom on the right.
To finish of Ive created two flowers from some of the left over papers, these were stuck to the card in the top left hand corner with some silicone glue on top of punched out leaves.

A Card for Just Magnolia's "Pink and Purple" Challenge
Good Afternoon All, well Ive actually managed to create a card for this No.2 Blog and I will be entering it into the Just Magnolia "Pink and Purple" challenge and any other one I can find on my travels. I dont know if youve been suffering from the rain today but its certainly been rather heavy first thing this morning but from about 11am its been dry and sunny, but the black clouds are gathering so I suspect they will bring the rotten rain back again soon, it certainly causes trouble trying to get Missy house trained.
Anyway to get back to my card, Ive used this sweet image of Tilda in her Bridesmaid dress, and Ive colured her with my copic and tria pens, then used the Heart from the Xcut new Nestabilitie dies, It was then stuck on a Heartland Die from Cherry Lynn. The sentiment is one from my stash that been mounted on a strip of mauve card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and for the first mount Ive used a pink pearlescent card and one of two papers from the Henbury Lane paper set from Papermania, this first paper is a white background with pink scroll on, the second is a mauve spot one thats been cut into a 5" square and Ive used a heart border and corner punch on it, this was then layered on top of the first mount. I then used a piece of lace across the middle and threaded a strip of mauve seam binding ribbon through the holes, was then attached to the back of the first mount.
The mounted image was then stuck in the middle and a triple bow again made with the seam binding was stuck to the left of it, I also used a mauve cut out heart that was left from the mount and stuck this at the top on the right with a white pearl heart in the middle. The sentiment was stuck at the bottom on the right hand side.
To finish of Ive created a spray of mauve and pink roses in different sizes on top of some punched out leaves with some silicone glue in the top left hand corner.

A Card for Many Magnolia Challenges
Good Evening All yes I did eventually get around to creating a card, and this one is for several Magnolia Challenges, Ive used this sweet image of Tilda with her basket of roses, Ive stamped her onto white card then used my copic and tria pens to colour her afterwards I cut her out with the Nestabilitie Die No.17 to cut her out then used the metal die to draw around then cut it out with the scissors, the sentiment is one from my stash thats had the same treatment.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with my first mount of pink pearlescent card and one of three papers from the new "Love Letters" from First Edition paper pack, this first paper is a white background with a pink flower pattern on, the second mount is a dark pink paper thats had the Doo Hickey lace border punch used on both edges this was then positioned down the card and my third mount has another of flower patterned paper on it. Ive then wrapped a velvet ribbon lace strip around the middle and attached to the back of the first mount.
I then cut a large Cherry Lynn heart out and positioned it at angle with my mounted image stuck on top with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side. To finish of I created a flower spray in the top right hand corner with two different sized roses and two pearl sprays, these were stuck on the card with some silicone glue on top of some punched out fern leaves. The last little thing was the pearls stuck in the two opposite corners.

"Sundays with Santa"
Good Morning All, hope you are enjoying yet another bank holiday weekend, the sun isnt to bright today its rather cloudy but Im keeping my fingers crossed it cheers up later on. Anyway todays card has been created for the Sundays with Santa Challenge over on Facebook that Pops started up just after Xmas if youd like to take part you are more than welcome and start to get your stock of cards up ready for the end of the year, if you do here is the link, its a good way of at least getting together at least a sizeable pile. This weeks challenge is theme "Anything Goes" and so its an easy one. Ive used this sweet LOV image for my card and stamped her onto white card before colouring her with my Copic and Tria pens, I then cut her out with the Nestabilitie die No.9 and then drawing around the die to create the mount. The sentiment is yet one more of the LOV stamps and this has been given the same treatment.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card and one of three papers from Donna's Bearlymine Xmas papers released last Christmas, the first one is a pretty red background with a lace edge and a picture of Santa Claus in the bottom left hand corner, then across the middle I have used a red and white spotted paper thats been punched along both edges with a snowflake punch, on top of this is the third paper a pink and white sentiment one.
I then positioned my mounted image in the middle over a Cherry Lyn die cut doily with the sentiment below on the left hand side, to finish of I created a flower spray with three poinsetta's in the top left hand corner and stuck them to my card with silicone glue and some punched out holly leaves.
