Good Morning All, yes I know its been a week since I posted a card here, but Ive been installing my programs on my new computer which hubby has built for me, its always a chore doing that, all those CDs that have to put on it.
Anyway back to todays card this is for this weeks Sundays with Santa and for this week we want to see a card especially for men, and Ive used this Mo image of a cat tangled in the Christmas lights which Im sure would drive any man mad if he was trying to put them on the tree, I know my hubby would be swearing like a tropper if we had a cat to do this, but luckily we have got a dog and so far shes not tried this.
Ive printed her onto white card and coloured it with my copic pens then used my rotatrim to cut it out and mounted it onto a piece of red card. The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card, and the only paper I have used is one of the co-ordination papers thats been put through the cuttlebug with a snowflake embossing folder.
I then wrapped a sentiment ribbon around the bottom and placed my mounted image in the centre of the front.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-

A Card for Sundays with Sunday (Facebook Challenge)
Good Morning All, guess what the rain is back with a vengence, its such a shame as we have had some lovely weather over the last few days and now we are back to the wet stuff. Anyway firstly I must apologise for not posting much lately but Im trying to get ahead with my DT cards as I have a busy couple of months ahead of me, and of course my eldest grandsons wedding in August but two of my youngest daughers boys will also be coming to spend a week with me just before that happens, as I said Im going to be rather busy in the next few weeks.
Well back to this card I made for last weeks Sundays with Santa, if you interested in taking part let me know as I have already got a few cards in my stash ready for this coming Christmas, it makes it a little less painful if you can make a card a week. As you can see Ive used on of Mos digital images for my card hes so cute, and then I used a star Nestabilitie die to cut it out, the sentiment is one from my stash and has been treated in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of yellow card, and the paper I have used is one from Donna's Bearlymine Christmas Sets, a lovely yellow background with Xmas trees in several colours, Ive also used my memorybox dies as well to make the bottom border and the corner.
This Card is to be entered in the following :-

Sample 3 for Sarahs brand new "Word Play" CD
Good Morning All, do you know Im sick of Internet Explorer each time I write up a post when I go and post it, its not saved it at all just the title, its so annoying I really must remember to use Firefox to write up my posts.
Todays card is the third sample I made for Sarahs brand new "Word Play" Cd thats due to be showcased on Create and Craft towards the end of July, its all pictures made up from words, and todays image of course is Sean Connery the only James Bond for me and Sarah. Ive just used one of the backing papers for this card, and then used silver mirror card and two film clip dies one from Nestabilities which has the sentiment put behind and the othe two are cut with a die-namics die.
I do hope you are liking these cards I will be posting another one tomorrow and hopefully the last two nearer the actual program date so I can remind you to watch.

Sarah's brand new "Word Play" CD
You might be wondering where Ive been, well I can now show you one of the reasons why Ive not been posting much this last week, as I have been asked by Sarah Hallam of "Peerless Designs" to create some more samples for her new CD which is due out in July, this one is created with words, the images are all words, not to easy to see with particular card but you can get an idea from the swirls on the topper, they are all made with words.
This card was created with the "Love" design set, the papers are just gorgeous and for this design set there are several different designs, Ive also used two of my Martha Stewart Heart border and corner punches on the papers, and Ive even stuck lace around the heart in the centre.
I do hope you like what you see, I will try to post some more of the samples as I go along, so far Ive only managed to get two cards done.

Good Afternoon Everyone, I just discovered my invitation card for the Queens Coronation in 1953, and thought you might like to see how well its survived over the years, the photo is of me in the Gypsy outfit second from the left at the back, with my brother and sister four and five from the right, my brother is a caveman and my sister little bo peep. I was 10 years old in this photo, I hope it brings a smile to your face.

A Card for this weeks "Sundays with Santa" Facebook Challenge
Good Morning Everyone, I hope its dry in your neck of the woods it is here so Im keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way as I have to take the dog for a walk later and perhaps cut the grass as well, but it been so wet lately and its grown so fast so Im not looking forward to doing it. Anyway this weeks theme on Sundays with Santa is "Shades of Blue" and I rather cheated by also using this card for Facebooks Sugary Sunday "Things with Wings" challenge. The image was stamped onto white card and Ive coloured it with my copic pens, then used Nestabilitie Die No.1 to cut her out and a larger one for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash thats been mounted onto another a blue mount to.
This card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card, the papers I have used is Donna's Bearlymine "Christmas Fun" digi paper set, the first one is a pale blue background with stars, the second is a darker background with larger stars on, I cut this in a strip and used the fir tree border die from Memory Box, then on top is another sentiment paper thats been mounted on a piece of more blue card.
I then positioned my mounted image in the centre, with the sentiment at the bottom on the right, for the last flourish I have used the Deer Trio also from Memory Box thats been stuck in the bottom left hand corner.

A Card for Sundays with Santa on Facebook - "Sport"
Good Afternoon Everyone, I dont seem to know what day it is what with all the Jubilee celebrations, and our monthly shop on Sunday, these last few days seem to have flown by. I had an appointment with the doctor this morning and I was dreading she would tell me I needed to go on statins, anyway as my eye test at the hospital turned out to be the start of a catarach and not chloestrial problems I dont have to start on them at the moment, thank goodness but she will keep an 6 montly check of my level and then if necessary put me on them then. Im not to happy about my eye problems being a catarach but it could have been a lot worse so for now I dont have to panic.
Well now you know my health problems I thought I would post this card I made for Sundays with Santa on Facebook, this week its all about sports the usual winter ones and I chose this pair of skaters from The Paper Shelter for my main image.
Ive printed them onto white card and used my copic pens to colour them, afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.1 to cut them out and a larger one for the mount. The sentiment is one of Personnal Impressions ones and this has been also mounted onto a piece of blue card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card and one of Donna's Bearlymine Christmas Background Designs, I then positioned my mounted image in the centre with the sentiment below of the right.
Just before I sign of, have any of you bloggers out there had problems with Internet Explorer, it wont save my post as Im writing it up, Im now having to use firefox all the time. Its so frustrating I spent 2 hours yesterday writing up a Challenge Blog only for it not to have been saved.

A Card for Sugary Sunday and Sugar Bowl Challenges
Good Morning Everyone, Ive at last managed to get a card ready for this weeks Sugary Sunday "Wings" Challenge on Facebook and Im even going to enter it into the Sugar Bowls, Sketch and Many shade of Purple Challenge. This sweet fairy is just gorgeous and Ive coloured her with my copic pens then used Nestabilitie Die No.8 to cut her out, afterwards I drew around the same die to create the mount for it.
The sentiment is a CC stamp and this has been stamped onto a piece of white card also and mounted onto a piece of purple card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of purple card and Ive used three papers from the "Hideaway" First Edition Paper Set, and Ive layered it up to the sketch thats provided on the Sugar Bowl page, Ive used used some of the left over paper to punch out a flower and then it was rolled into shape with a ball ended tool, then layered up on a die cut from Die-namics.
I then positioned the mounted image on the slant and the sentiment by the side.
This card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-

Shirley's News
You might be wondering where I have been for the last week, well weve been spending a few days in Looe and district in Cornwall with some friends from Guernsey, the weather has been fabulous, not to hot just right and weve visited some beautiful places, heres a photo of Fowey,
its a really beautiful little town on the side of a river inlet, you have to travel on a ferry to get from one side to another, we had a gorgeous day here on Tuesday, the on Wednesday we went to Lanhydrock House, a spectacular house I really enjoyed not only the garden but also visiting the inside and imagining how fabulous it would be to live there.
The photo in the centre was just part of the house, I dont seem to have taken one of the front entrance, but you can see how gorgeous it is I hope from just that one. The last photo is of my friends little boy, hes here with his granddad, and this was taken on our trip to Fowey, hes such a happy little chap and is now a year old.
This last photo is of Nicolas's mum and dad and his nan also on the same day as the one above in Fowey.
We did have a lovely few days away and it was sad to have to leave them and come home, but I had a hospital appointment with the eye clinic today and didnt want to miss it, as I have been experiencing a haze ring in my left eye and the optician was unable to tell me what it was, but with the appointment today at least its ruled out anything nasty but it has given me the reason probably why Im having the problem, I have a cataract developing in my left eye and I have to return to the hospital for a follow up appointment in 2 months to see what the changes might be, so will let you know how I get on then. These things are definitly here to wind us up arnt they?
We picked up Missy from the breeder this afternoon, and shes been sleeping it of ever since, she always come back home completely knackered as she runs around all the time with the rest of her family and it tires her out, but at least we know she has a grand time and we dont have to worry about her.
