A Card for the ArtbyMiran Facebook Challenge

Good Afternoon Crafters, I know Im extremely lax as posting cards here on my No.2 blog this is because its been rather busy over on my No.1 blog, weve have a blog hop and a about 3 other challenges to write up and schedule, plus which I have been trying to get ahead for a couple of months of DT work due to the fact Im due to have a cataract removed on the 29th of the Month and Im not sure how much Im going to be able to achieve while Im waiting for my new glasses so I do hope you understand my delay in posting a card.
This card was created for the ArtbyMiran Facebook page and this is one of her gorgeous Autumn images and I have printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic pens, afterwards I cut her out with a rectangle Nestabilitie daie and used a fancy one for the mount out of green card, the sentiment was created in the same way and the die is also from the same die set as the mount for the image.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of green card and the papers are also from ArtbyMiran this is the Christmas paper set, and I have used three of the papers, the first is a green one and on top I have used two of the papers and a holly border punch down the edges. I then wrapped a red holly ribbon around the card and attached it to the back of the first mount.
I placed my mounted image towards the left with the sentiment at the bottom on the right, to finish of I have used a piece of red ribbon tied in a bow on top of some punched out holly leaves and some holly berries which were then placed in the top right hand corner.

A Card for Facebooks ArtbyMiran Challenge

Good Morning Crafters, well last week I discovered I had won a digi on the Facebooks ArtbyMiran Challenge and I picked this young lady "Lily" and I printed her onto white card to colour her with copic pens, I then used a Nestabilitie Die to cut her out and a fancy one for the mount out of blue card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a base card is a blue card, the papers are from Sweetshoppes "Come Rain and Shine" paper set, and I used 4 of the papers the first a white background with blue and yellow flowers on, the second is again a white background with a tartan pattern in blue and yellow. The third and forth are blue and green and layered up as shown in the photo.
I then placed the mounted image in the center and created a floral mount in the top left hand corner the sentiment was stamped and positioned in the bottom right hand corner and the final flourish are the two gems in the top right and bottom left hand corners.

5th Challenge for Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge

Yet another month has flown by and we have reached our 5th "Anything Goes" Challenge over on Hazels Craftyhazelnuts Paper Patterned Challenge and we are so lucky to be able to choose what sort of card we wish to enter (and you do to) but YOU MUST MAKE SURE ITS ON PATTERNED PAPER so that isnt a problem is it? And if your anything like me you have boxes of it so its lovely to be able to use it up in such a wonderful way.
As always Hazel has a fabulous prize for you
And for this one again I am using my Heartfelt Stamps and Dies.

These stamps is from the "Market Harvest" stamp and die set, I stamped the large image first onto white card then coloured it with my copic pens, the two smaller stamped images you can see have also been treated in the same way but I cut them out with the dies that come with this set.
The base card is 6.50"x 6.50" white card and the first mount is a beige one and on top of this I have used one of the papers from the paper pad set its a mauve distressed paper, and then mounted my larger stamped image onto a piece of the same beige card which has a stitched edge to it, I placed it onto of the base layer and then moulded the two extra stamps and stuck them across two of the corners as shown. To finish of I have stamped the sentiment in the top right hand corner directly onto the larger stamped mounted image.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the "Craftyhazelnuts Patterned Paper" Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Anything Goes" Challenge, but dont forget we want to see your card using Patterned Papers for any part of it.

A Card for the ArtbyMiran Facebook and Challenge Blog

Good Morning Crafters, I thought you might like to my card I created for this months Facebook Challenge for ArtbyMiran, and this is a reserved image and I printed it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it. Afterwards I used a Nestabilitie Die to cut her out and a fancy one for the mount and before mounting her I used glitter on all the white ruffles on her dress and hat. The sentiment was also done by stamping onto white card then using a label die from Spellbinders to cut it out and a fancy one for the mount.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of red card, the first layer is a sheet of Vintage Christmas papers from Phil Martin, and then on top I have cut out a similar size piece of white card and the Memory Box corner dies and used them on all four of the corners as you can see in the photo.
I then placed my mounted image on top in the center with the sentiment down the right hand side, it seems to have slightly moved. I also used some dazzlers down the left hand side just to finish it off.

A Card for Facebook

Good Morning Crafters this weeks theme over on Facebook is "Shades of Red" and I created this card mind you with a idea from Sue Wilson and it was quite tricky.
The base card is a 7.50"x 6.00" and its layered up with a white first layer which has been pierced and then the next layer is a embossed "Poinsettia" folder and laid on top
The Poinsettia striplet has been cut then layered up on a piece of white and then red card, the flowers you can see where created with a glitter glue which was layed in the petals of the diecut layer, I must admit I then cut another top layer and put it on top to cover up any smudges.
This was then placed down the left side, and I fold some pearl sprays and layed them as shown, And then diecut two poinsettias out of red card and moulded and layered up as shown, I then placed them on top of some white seam binding ribbon and thin red ribbon which were tied into a bow.

4th Challenge for Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper Challenge

Yet another month has flown by and we have reached our 4th "Anything Goes" Challenge over on Hazels Craftyhazelnuts Paper Patterned Challenge and we are so lucky to be able to choose what sort of card we wish to enter (and you do to) but YOU MUST MAKE SURE ITS ON PATTERNED PAPER so that isnt a problem is it? And if your anything like me you have boxes of it so its lovely to be able to use it up in such a wonderful way.
As always Hazel has a fabulous prize for you

I cannot believe that Im already writing up my 4th Challenge for Hazel and so much has happened in the last month, my new great grandson arrived safely on the 15th September and is settling down with his family really well and luckily his big brother is really happy to have him, lets hope it lasts you know what its like having a younger sibling.
Anyway as you are probably are aware Im very fond of Heartfelt Stamps, dies and papers and I have used them yet again for this months card I do hope you like the result.

I stamped the main image onto white card then used my copic pens and this set is called "Autumn Harvest" and felt it was just right for this time of year as the evenings are drawing in and the weather no doubt before long will change though as Im writing this its gorgeous and Im experiencing a Indian Summer, long might it last Im not a winter person Im afraid.
I also used the bottles stamp and coloured this with copic pens to and then used the die to cut it out, also did the same with the vine stamp.
The main base is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of green card and the papers are also from the same stamp and die set and then placed my mounted image in the center with the bottles in the bottom left hand corner, and the sentiment which also came from the same stamp set in the bottom right hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the Crafty Hazelnuts Pattern Paper Challenge Blogspot and see the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Anything Goes" Challenge, dont forget you must use a Patterned Paper on your card to be eligible to take part.

Another card for ArtbyMiran Facebook Challenge

This months Facebook Challenge for ArtbyMiran is a "Anything Goes" one but with a twist is has to be on a shaped card, so I took a large sheet of white card and cut out the shape you can see with a Go Kreate Die.
The image was printed onto white card and I then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a smaller shaped die for her and drew around the die to create the mount out of green card.
The base card is about 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of green card and the papers are also from ArtbyMiran which was a freebie on Facebook, I have used two papers the first an all over leaf one in various Autumn colours and the second which is difficult to see is another from the set cut in a strip and I used a Martha Stewart Leaf border punch down two sides and placed in on top down the middle of the card.
I then wrapped a ribbon which I removed from a very old card and laid it down the left hand side and the mounted image in the middle. The sentiment was one I found on the internet and then placed this also on a piece of green card it was then stuck in the bottom left hand corner on top of some punched out leaves.

I printed this image onto white card then u sed my copic pens to colour her, I then used Presscut die to cut her out and a larger one out of blue card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of blue card and the papers are from Maja Vintage Spring Paper pad, I have used three papers in shades of blue and white. I then placed my mounted image in the middle and the sentment which I stamped in the bottom left hand corner.

A Card for Sundays with Santa "Tag it" theme

For this weeks theme over on Facebook its a Card with a tag on, and I have used again the Sue Wilson Dies and layered it up as shown in the photo. I must admit that I have pinched a Sue Wilson card design and adapted it for my own use.
I have used glitter for the sky and the dies used are the Noble Frame die and the Festive trees and Dear.
I also stamped the sentiment on a tag die and then cut it out placed it at the top on the border die frame.
I must admit that Sue Wilson dies are my most favourite ones to use as they are so versatile.

A Card for Facebooks Sundays with Santa

Good Morning Crafters, its been a extremely busy weekend for me and I didnt get around to checking the theme for Sundays Facebook Challenge and as I had decided to create this card using the Sue Wilsons products I thought I would enter it instead, but it seems I was right on trend as this weeks theme was all about "Flowers" thats a bit of luck wasnt it?
Firstly I want to warn you about something that happened to me during last week and I would like to give you the go ahead incase it ever happens to you, a month ago I had my credit card details on Amazon hacked and someone helped themselves to £150. of gift vouchers, as I had not spend them (luckily Amazon always send me receipts when I have bought something) I had to go through the procedure of proving it wasnt my purchases, luckily I was able to proof it and they recompensed my account by removing them, but I also had to cancel my credit card and be issued with a brand new number.
I dont know if you can guess I had the old number linked to several accounts and one of these was Create and Craft, and as I had bought something on flexi-pay it was linked to the payments on this, and they (I had changed the details and put the new card details on their website) tried to get payments from the old card to cover the flexi-pay plan, and instead of contacting me directly as soon as the 1st payment was refused they tried again then sent me a letter. To cut a long story short I had to contact them by phone to change the card payment details to the new one and I was charged £15.00 for the pleasure of not doing so before, so be Warned if you have to change your credit card number during a flexi-pay plan ring them to give them the new details otherwise you also will be charged. I did ask them to let other buyers know of this problem but whether they will is another story.
Anyway to get back to my card, I used a mask for the background with Silver glitter texture paste, and this was also used on the poinsettia flowers. The strip is the 3 kings and they are all from Creative Expressions.

A Card for Sundays with Santa "Layers" Challenge

Good Morning Crafters, well this weeks theme over on Sundays with Santa is all about layers, so I hope that this card will qualify for that,
I stamped the candle image onto white card before colouring it with my copic pens, afterwards I cut it out with my rotatrim and used a corner punch to do the four corners, I then created a mount for it out of red card and did the same with the corners.
I stamped the flowers and leaves onto red and green paper and then used the dies that also come with this set, I moulded the flowers and layered them up as shown, and stuck them in the top left hand corner and layered them up with silicone glue as shown in the photo.

The base card is a plain one with a edge of punched holes and on top of this I have layered a card that was run through the cut and boss machine with the holly embossing folder from Sue Wilson. Then on top I have layered the diecut Merry Christmas, and then punched out several sized snowflakes where dipped into German Glass Glitter and layered up and stuck in the two bottom corners. To finish of I have stuck 8 flat backed pearls in all four corners in pairs.

A Card for the Creative Expressions "Easter" Challenges

Good Afternoon Crafters, well you will never guess I originally created this card for what I thought was the Creative Expressions Easter Challenge but when I went to add it, it seems that it was a old challenge and they hadnt updated their blog since it was run, anyway I was looking at Sue Wilsons blog this morning and decided to create this card using her card design as you can see I have used two shades of yellow for my card and layered it up slightly differently to her card design.
I have used the Monarch Butterfly and cut it out completely then layered into the diecut shapes two more butterflies in different shades of yellow, then placed a piece of double sided sticky backed paper and then layered it up with glitter.

A Card for Facebooks "Sundays with Santa"

Good Morning Crafters, well its been a really busy week, I have been catching up with my Spring Cleaning and gradually getting to the end of it, just a few little jobs left to do, I was amazed this morning and how much dust collects on the lamp shades on the ceiling I used a brand new duster and it was filthy by the time I had finished.
Also I had two fabulous pieces of good news in the last week my second eldest grandson who is almost 22 got a 2-1 grade in Computer Sciences at Sheffield University and that might sound pretty good but when you consider he suffers with Asperger's and mild Autism I think its brilliant he never did find it easy to express himself or cope with English to well, Im so very proud of him, He also worked all through the Summer Holidays last year that he was able to afford his own flat, Well Done Thomas.
Then my younger Granddaughter had her Prom and she looked stunning, shes such a beauty and her dark red dress really looked beautiful, she has now left School and hopes when shes 18 to start Teacher Training but I think in the meantime she will probably think about getting a certification in child care to help her along the way.
But back to my card this was created with the new Sue Wilson Festive Dies, I have also used a embossing folder and layered it up with red card as well as the white. I hope you like the result.

A ArtbyMiran Card for the Facebook Reserved Challenge

Good Afternoon Crafters, at the weekend I received my image for this months Reserved Challenge over on Facebook, and I printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic pens. I then used one of my Nestabilitie Labels die to cut her out and then created a faux die for the mount by drawing around the die to create the larger one. The sentiment was created in the same way.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount out of blue card the papers are from Maja Design and I have used three of them with blue being the made colour scheme, the first has roses on and the second is a tapestry pattern and the third a distressed look
The mounted image was then placed towards the left and the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner. The final flourish are the two paper carnation flowers from my stash in the top right hand corner.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-
